WELLINGTON AND MANAWATU RAILWAY
COMPANY (LIMITED).
NOTICE is hereby given that the Wellington and Manawatu
Railway Company (Limited) are constructing a railway
under "The Land and Railways Construction Act, 1881," and
have, in terms of the eighteenth clause of the said Act, deposited
for public inspection in the Public Works Office, and the office
of the Company, in Wellington, and in the Post Office at Mr.
James Taylor's, Tawa Flat, Porirua Road, a plan setting forth
the middle line and direction of the railway, and a book of
reference showing the lands required to be taken for the portion
of the railway, commencing at a point marked 5 miles 55 chains
in Section No. 11, Johnsonville, and terminating at a point
marked 13 miles, Section 106, Porirua, and the names of the
owners and occupiers of such lands as far as can be ascertained.

NOTICE.
THE Partnership hitherto existing between WILLIAM THOMAS
ATKIN and WILLIAM MCCULLOUGH, under the style or
firm of "William Atkin," Printers, High Street, was dissolved
from the 27th day of November, 1882. The business will
henceforth be carried on by William McCullough, under the
style of "William Atkin," as before; and all debts due by the
said firm will be paid by the said William McCullough, who will
also receive all accounts due to the said firm, and whose receipt
will be a sufficient discharge therefor.

THE NEW ZEALAND LAND AND LOAN COMPANY
(LIMITED), IN LIQUIDATION.
A general meeting of the Shareholders, held within the
office of the Liquidators, Mr. Toxward's Chambers,
Lambton Quay, Wellington, on Monday, the 22nd day of
January, 1883, at 8 o'clock in the evening, the following resolu-
tion was carried unanimously: "That this meeting, having
considered the Liquidators' account, is of opinion that the
affairs of the Company have been fairly and fully wound up."
