Notice of Times and Places for Investigating Claims.

NOTICE is hereby given that the claims, on behalf of themselves and others, of the several persons
whose names are mentioned in the first column of the Schedule hereunder written, to the several
blocks of land of which the names and localities are mentioned in the second column, the boundaries of
which are published in the third column will be investigated at Whangarei, on the 4th day of November,
1883, and following days.

The maps of such of these lands as has been surveyed, can be seen at the Courthouse of the Resident
Magistrate, Whangarei.

No. Names of Claimants. Name and Localities of Blocks. Boundaries.
1 Pomare Kingi, Hira Te Taka, and Hare Wetiwha Waikoanga No. 2, near Whangarei Commence at Waihoanga No. 2, proceed along the road westward, turn northward, Tauanui, turn eastward, proceed along the Government boundary, Wehitahi, turn southward, and close up to the starting point.
2 Haata Kingi Hakiro, Raniera Wharerau, Paraki Te Waru, Puru Whero, Mohi Taka, Komene Ripiro, Mohi Parore, Piri Hahu, Mohi Wikitahi, and Heta Te Tuhi Tuaramiia, near Ngunguru, Whangarei Commence at Tuaramiia, proceed along the coast, turn southward, Huriwaka, Te Kumi, turn westward, proceed along the stream of Horahora, Te Whakapae, Te Kohai, Oote-puu, Kaiweka, Haokupenga, Pakotuku, Te Whakapae No. 2, Te Rutunga, Rapa, Teke, turn northward, ascend the ridge, Koritawa, descend into the stream of Ngunguru, at Ngapokopoko, turn eastward, proceed along the stream of Ngunguru, and close up to Tuaramiia.
3 Keremeneta Peia, Mere Wharenikau, and Hepi Moanariki Te Waipu, near Whangarei Commence at the stream of Te Reretiitii, commence on the South, turn to the East, proceed along the boundary of Waata, turn to the North, turn to the West, turn along the stream of Te Reretiitii, proceed to the South to the starting point, and stop.
