Dissolution of Company.

In the matter of " The Companies Act, 3882 ; " and in the
matter of the affidavit and application of George William
Moss, of Greymouth, in the Provincial District of West land, Secretary of the Grey River Steam Tug Company
(Limited).

HEREBY notify that no objection to such application
having been made and lodged with me as by the said
Act required, I do now declare such company to be dig solved.

To Makarini Scholarships .

HREE Scholarships of the annual value of £35 each, to
be held at the Native College, To Auto, Hawke's Bay,
are offered for competition to Maori or half-caste youths, on
the conditions laid down in the Regulations of the Trustees
of the Te Makarini Scholarships Fund. The examination
will be held at convenient centres on the 17th and 18th of
December, 1883 .

Candidates must, either directly or through their teachers,
send notice to the Inspector of Native Schools, Education
Department, Wellington, of their intention to present them selves for examination. Such notice must be posted not
later than the 31st October next .

Copies of the regulations and forms of notice may be ob tained from teachers of Native schools and boarding institu tions, the Secretaries to Education Boards, or the Secretary
to the Education Department .

offered an extra Junior Scholarship for competition at this
year's examination. There will therefore be two Senior and

RITTEN tenders are invited for the under-mentioned
sections in the University Reserve, Whenuakura
District, near Patea, in accordance with specified conditions .

Term of lease, fourteen years.

Upset price, 6d . per acre for the first seven years, and ls .
per acre for the remainder of term .

Compensation for improvements to be paid by incoming
tenant, if any, up to £5 per acre .

Detailed conditions to be seen at the Land Office, Patea.

The land is about seven miles from the Borough of Patea,
and is approached by a good road ; the bush is light, and the
soil of the best quality.
