Arrangements for First Elections, &c., Town District of
Helensville, County of Waitemata.

Colonial Secretary's Office,
Wellington, 17th October, 1883.

HIS Excellency the Governor has been pleased to ap-
point

THOMAS O'KELL

to be the Returning Officer to conduct the first elections of
five Commissioners of the Helensville Town District, as
constituted under "The Town Districts Act, 1881;" also to
appoint Monday, the 19th day of November, 1883, to be the
day, and the Courthouse at Helensville to be the place, for
holding such first elections; and also to appoint Monday,
the 26th day of November, 1883, at three o'clock in the
afternoon, to be the time, and the Courthouse at Helensville
to be the place, for holding the first meeting of the Commis-
sioners of the said district.

Special Order made by Mount Somers Road Board, County
of Ashburton.

Colonial Secretary's Office,
Wellington, 18th October, 1883.

THE following special order, made by the Mount Somers
Road Board, is published in accordance with "The
Road Boards Act, 1882."

THOMAS DICK.

RESOLVED, That two members of the Board (to be decided
by lot) shall retire in the first week of May, 1884, and that
two other members (also to be decided by lot) shall retire in
the first week of May, 1885, as per sections 75 and 76 of
"The Road Boards Act, 1882."

I hereby certify that the above special order has been duly
passed.
