I, the undersigned, hereby make application to register
the Hetherington Gold-Mining Company (Limited) as
a Limited Company, under the provisions of "The Mining
Companies Act, 1872," and the amending Acts.

  1. The name of the company is to be the Hetherington
    Gold-Mining Company (Limited).
  2. The place of operations is at Saddle Hill, near Dunedin.
  3. The registered office of the company will be situated at
    Manse Street, Dunedin.
  4. The nominal capital of the company is twenty-four
    thousand pounds, in twenty-four thousand shares of twenty
    shillings each.
  5. The number of shares subscribed for is twenty-four
    thousand, being not less than two-thirds of the entire num-
    ber of shares in the company.
  6. The number of paid-up shares is twelve thousand.
  7. The amount already paid up is twelve thousand pounds
    represented by twelve thousand shares issued as fully paid
    up.
  8. The name of the Manager is John Henry Gay.
  9. The names and addresses and occupations of the share-
    holders, and the number of shares held by each at this date,

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

N OTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto
existing between CHARLES GEE SMYTH and CHARLES
EDWARD WILLIAMS as Merchants and Commission Agents at
Napier, under the firm of "Smyth and Williams," has been
this day dissolved by mutual consent. All debts due by and
all accounts owing to the late firm will be paid and received
by the said Charles Edward Williams.

for some time past been carried on by THOMAS GEORGE
HUDSON, MORRIS SAMUEL RIDLEY, and WALTON SALKELD,
under the style or firm of "Hudson, Ridley, and Co.," at
Christchurch, New Zealand, as General Importers and
Produce Merchants, and under the style or firm of
"W. Salkeld and Co.," at 58, St. Mary Axe, London, was
dissolved by mutual consent as and from the 31st day of
December, 1882. The business will in future be carried on
by Thomas George Hudson and Morris Samuel Ridley, under
the style of "Hudson, Ridley, and Co." As witness our

I, GEORGE JOSEPH WALSH, Licentiate of the Royal
Colleges of Physicians and Surgeons of Edinburgh, now
residing in Wellington, do hereby give you notice that it is
my intention to apply to you on the 12th day of November,
1883, to have my name placed on the Medical Register for
the Colony of New Zealand, and that I have deposited my
evidence of qualification for public inspection in the office of
the Registrar-General at Wellington.

TO HENRY BURKE, formerly of Williamstown, in the County
of Dublin, Ireland.
In the goods of James Burke, formerly of Williamstown,
aforesaid, and afterwards of 191, Great Brunswick Street,
in the City of Dublin, and late of Valetta, Strand Road,
Merrion, in the County of Dublin, Esquire, Solicitor,
deceased.

N OTICE is hereby given to the said HENRY BURKE (a son
of said deceased), who left Williamstown aforesaid
upwards of twenty years ago for Australia, and who has not
since been heard of, that, should said Henry Burke apply in
person to THOMAS BURKE, of Valetta, Strand Road, Merrion,
in the County of Dublin, Esquire, the sole Executor named
in the last will and testament of the said James Burke, who
died on the 23rd day of February, 1883, at Valetta aforesaid,
and to whom probate of said will was granted forth of the
Principal Registry of the Probate and Matrimonial Division
of the High Court of Justice in Ireland on the 21st day of
March, 1883, the said Henry Burke will, upon such applica-
tion, and establishing his identity, hear of something to his
advantage; and in the event of said Henry Burke not re-
turning to Ireland and establishing his identity within ten
years from said 23rd day of February, 1883, he will forfeit all
benefit he would otherwise be entitled to.
