Notice of Times and Places for Investigating Claims.

NOTICE is hereby given that the claims, on behalf of themselves and others, of the several persons
whose names are mentioned in the first column of the Schedule hereunder written, to the several
blocks of land of which the names and localities are mentioned in the second column, the boundaries of
which are published in the third column will be investigated at Te Kawakawa, Bay of Islands, on the
15th day of February next, and following days.

The maps of such of these lands as have been surveyed can be seen at the Courthouse of the Resident
Magistrate, at Russell.

Name of Claimant. Name and Locality of Block. Boundaries.
Hori Wehiwehi and Komene Te Pouaka Waikaukau Parutahi No. 2, near Whanga-
ruru Bounded towards the North-east by Whangaruru
Harbour; towards the North-west by Native
land; and all other boundaries the Parutahi
Block.
Erana Uru, Erana Rewa, Rahera Tarau, and Ngahoari Tipina Oropa No. 2, near Te Kawakawa Commences on the North-west side of the Tipa-
tipa boundary, runs along the eastern side
following the boundary to the large river
Orauta, goes down the river to the Ramarama
boundary turns to the West and joins the
Ngaropa boundary, still follows on and joins
the Otuwehea boundary, turns to the South-
east, and comes up to the starting-point.
Mohi Kaingaroa and Te Katene Te Wharawhara, near Whangaruru Commences at Wharawhara, goes to the South,
and follows on to Titirangi; on the West side
of the sea as far as Te Ana, here it descends,
and comes up to Wiremu's boundary.
Hori Winiana, Matiu Te Whareumu, Hikuwai, and others Te Ruapekapeka Manurewa, near Te Kawa-
kawa
Commences at Te Tiaauhinga, goes in a south-
erly direction to Tangiatehoe and Pauateretere,
comes up to the Government boundary, and
follows it to Te Touwai, Pukeahua, and Pi-
totoi, turns to the South, and comes up to the
starting-point.
Wiremu Te Kopa, Paahi Kopa, and Paea Kopa Te Hautapu, near Te Kawakawa Bounded on the South by Maori land; on the
West by whiteman's land; on the North by
Government land; and on the East by Maori
land.
