Sittings for the trial of criminal and civil cases
and of causes under the Divorce and Matrimonial
Causes Act will be held at the Courthouse, Napier,
to commence on the following days, at half-past 10
a.m.:-

Monday, June 11th.
Monday, December 10th.

Business in Chambers, and such business in Bank-
ruptcy and Banco as the Judge shall allow, may be
disposed of in the course of these sittings, at such
days and hours as the Judge may appoint.

Sittings for the trial of criminal and civil cases and
of causes under the Divorce and Matrimonial Causes
Act will be held at the Courthouse, Gisborne, to
commence on the following days, at half-past 10
a.m.:-

Monday, June 18th.
Monday, December 10th.

Business in Chambers, and such business in Bank-
ruptcy and Banco as the Judge shall allow, may be
disposed of in the course of these sittings, at such
days and hours as the Judge may appoint.

If any of the days above appointed for sittings
should be a public holiday, the sittings will commence
on the day after the day so appointed.

Sittings of the Supreme Court in the Nelson Judicial
District.

WE, three of the Judges of the Supreme Court of
New Zealand, in pursuance the powers
vested in us by "The Supreme Court Act, 1882,"
hereby make the following rules respecting the
places and times for holding sittings of the Supreme
Court and sittings in Chambers in the Nelson Judi-
cial District of New Zealand for the year 1883 :-

Sittings for the trial of criminal and civil cases
and of causes under the Divorce and Matrimonial
Causes Act will be held at the Courthouse, Nelson,
to commence on the following days, at 10.30 a.m. :-

Friday, June 15th.
Friday, December 14th.

Business in Chambers, and such business in Bank-
ruptcy and Banco as the Judge shall allow, may be
disposed of in the course of the sittings, at such
days and hours as the Judge may appoint.

Sittings for the trial of criminal and civil cases and
of causes under the Divorce and Matrimonal Causes

commence on the following days at 10.30 a.m. :--

Tuesday, June 12th.
Tuesday, December 11th.

commence on the following days, at 10 a.m.:-

Monday, April 2nd.
Monday, October 1st.

be disposed of in the course of these sittings, at
such days and hours as the Judge may appoint.

If any of the days above appointed for sitting
should be a public holiday, the sittings will commence

Judicial District.

WE, three of the Judges of the Supreme Court
of New Zealand, in pursuance of the powers
vested in us by "The Supreme Court Act, 1882,"
hereby make the following rules respecting the places
and times for holding sittings of the Supreme Court
and sittings in Chambers in the Judicial District of
Canterbury for the year 1883:--

Sittings for the trial of criminal cases will be held
at the Courthouse, Christchurch, to commence on the
following days, at 11 a.m.:-

Wednesday, January 17th.
Monday, April 2nd.
Monday, July 2nd.
Monday, October 1st.

Sittings for the trial of civil actions will be held at
the Courthouse, Christchurch, to commence on the
following days, at 11 a.m. :-

Monday, January 22nd.
Monday, April 9th.
Monday, June 18th.
Monday, July 16th.
Monday, August 13th.
Monday, September 17th.
Monday, October 15th.

The trial of causes under "The Divorce and
Matrimonial Causes Act, 1867," may take place at
any of the above-mentioned sittings for the trial of
civil actions.

Sittings of the Court in Banco aud Bankruptcy
will be held at the Courthouse, Christchurch, every
Wednesday, except during vacation or during the
absence of the Judge, or unless the Judge is engaged
on other business.

Sittings in Chambers will be held at the Judge's
Chambers in the Courthouse, Christchurch, every
Tuesday and Friday, except during vacation, or during
the absence of the Judge, unless the Judge is
engaged on other business.

Sittings in Chambers at other times and in vacation,
in respect of urgent business, may be held at such
times and places as may suit the convenience of the
Judge.
