IRON.
A bonus of one thousand pounds (Β£1,000) will be
given for the production, in New Zealand, of 300
tons of pig-iron, of marketable quality, from ore pro-
duced in New Zealand.
Conditions.
- The bonus not to be given for any quantity less
than 100 tons. - Notice of the intention to erect ironworks and
claim the bonus must be given to the Colonial Secre-
tary before the 31st December, 1882. - The bonus must be claimed before the 31st De-
cember, 1883. - In the event of more than one claimant giving
such notice, not more than seven-tenths of the bonus
may be claimed by the first producer, and not more
than three-tenths by the second producer; but if
only one claimant becomes a producer on the above
conditions, he may claim the whole of the bonus. - The iron in respect of which any bonus is
claimed, and the ore from which it is manufactured,
will be examined by an officer to be appointed by the
Government, who may require the production of
bonΓ’ fide account sales of quantities not less than
100 tons weight, showing that such iron has been
sold at a fair market price as pig-iron.

both of Invercargill, in the Colony of New Zealand,
Merchants, have deposited at this office a specifica-
tion of the said invention; and I have appointed
Friday, the 26th day of January next, at 10 o'clock
in the forenoon, at this office, to hear the said
application and all objections thereto; and I require
all persons having an interest in opposing the grant
of such Letters Patent to leave, on or before the
11th day of January next, at this office, particulars
in writing of their objections to the said application,
otherwise they will be precluded from urging the
same.

District. In the matter of the Rechabite Hall
Company (Limited), and in the matter of "The
Limited Liability Joint-Stock Companies Dissolu-
tion Act, 1872."
IN the matter of "The Joint-Stock Companies Dis-
solution Act, 1872," and in the matter of the affi-
davit and application of Mr. F. H. Fraser, Manager
and Secretary of the Rechabite Hall Company
(Limited), I hereby notify that, no objection to such
application having been made and lodged with me as
by the said Act required, I do now declare such Com-
pany to be dissolved.

pleased to pronounce the under-mentioned gold-
mining lease cancelled, and that the ground is now
open for application as if no lease of the said ground
had ever been applied for:---

Gold-Mining Lease to be granted.
IN conformity with the thirty-seventh section of
"The Mines Act, 1877," and with the regu-
lations made under that Act for the granting of
leases for gold-mining purposes, it is hereby notified
that it is intended to grant a lease of Crown lands
for gold-mining purposes to the applicants specified
in the annexed Schedule, unless there shall be valid
objections against such lease.
Objections to the granting of such lease, stating
the grounds of objection, must be made in writing,
and lodged with the Warden at Cromwell on or before
the 30th day of November, 1882.
Copy of the application made and plan annexed
may be seen at the Warden's Office at Cromwell.
SCHEDULE.

under which it is intended to conduct the business:
