tions against such lease.
Objections to the granting of such lease, stating
the grounds of objection, must be made in writing,
and lodged with the Warden at Ahaura on or before
the 24th day of November, 1882.
Copy of the application made and plan annexed
may be seen at the Warden's Office at Ahaura.
SCHEDULE.
APPLICANT: Allan McDonald. Style under which
it is intended to conduct the business: "The Hanlon
Hydraulic Gold-Mining Company." 10 acres, southern
end of Ross's Creek, also known as Taylor's Creek,
Orwell Creek, Ahaura, in the Nelson South-West
Mining District.
Given under my hand, at Nelson, this
thirtieth day of October, one thousand

Mineral Leases to be granted.
IN conformity with the thirty-seventh section of
"The Mines Act, 1877," and with the regulations
made under that Act for the granting and issue of
mineral leases, it is hereby notified that it is intended
to grant leases of Crown lands for coal-mining pur-
poses to the applicants specified in the annexed
Schedule, unless there shall be valid objections
against such leases.
Objections to the granting of such leases, stating
the grounds of objection, must be made in writing,
and lodged with the Commissioner of Crown Lands,
Dunedin, on or before the 5th day of December,
1882.
Copy of the applications made and plans annexed
may be seen at the Crown Lands Office at Dunedin.
SCHEDULE.
APPLICANT: Christopher Basstian, jun. Style under
which it is intended to conduct the business: "Great
Western Extended." 80 acres, Section 3, Block
III., Longwood, in the Longwood Mining District.
Applicants: James Kirkton and others. Style
