Rotootepa, Te Arohataiaterakau, and close up to the startiug point.
Ahitana Matenga, Takerei Ho- hepa, and Hiria Karauria Te Whakarae, near Gladstone Commence at Te Waiauru, proceed to Te Waio- powhakataka, Taherewahine, Pahi, turn north- west, Te Ewepawa, the Government boundary, and onward to Te Waiauru.
Anaru Harawira. Piripi Waka, and Tikawenga Papataia, near Master- ton Commence at Te Pukainga, Ngawakaakotore- moana, Puketihia, Te Tarahanga, Papaaku- ratea, Purakau-o-Ngaitawhito, turn to the North-west, Natiaka, Wharetotara, Motuate- rangi, turn southward, Manupopokirua, on- ward to Pukainga, and close up there.
Hamuera Mahupuku, Takerei Tutawhanga, Ahitana Mate- nga, and Hiria Karauria Hape Ngatarahanga at Mau- ngaraki, near Glad- stone Commence at Te Whakamarumaru, a totara, on to the ratas at Korarau; turn southward, Kaitopetope; turn to the North-west, Paita- huna, and along the fence of Neeti Kereehi, to the totara at Te Whakamarumaru, and close up.
Hotuaipara, Raikaumoana, and Ngatuera Tawhirimatua Taumatakaihuka Te We- raiti, near Masterton Te Ruakakahi at Ruamahanga, proceed towards the sun, Te Arawhata a Tumapuhia, the mouth of Whangaehu, Te Umukareka, Te Whareo- tetoenga, Te Rotoatepo, Purumakere, turn northward, Te Whakaumu, Te Purakau o Ro- ngomaipare, Kaikorowhatu, Taumataoterangi, Te Kuporo a Puhoro, Te Rere-a-Makawhiu, proceed along by Pariwhaiti as far as Taueru, turn southward, Te Tawai, Tauranga o Tukau- onoho, Te Patuna a Te Wakatakahia, Te Rimariki Stream, proceed to the North-west, to the rigde of Te Weraiti, Te Punanga, Te Ruakakahi, and close.
Wi Mahapuku, Rawinia Naera, Hamuera Mahupuku, and Turuhira Paraone Te Wereawhaitiri, near Gladstone, Wairaraba Commence at Hinepari, proceed southward along Korarau, onward to Waiotekorohepe, Te Upoko o Hinetu, onward to Whango, Mahunui, and Wainuiouru, Tauranga o Kai- tapapa, Te Kahaparera, turn along Maurioho, and along the boundary of Te Ahuarapa, and close up at Hinepari.
Wi Tutere Pahoro Te Tio, and Wi Hoani Te Uruhinga, near Grey- town The peg at the Government boundary, proceed to Te Rakau, onward to Te Tawai, Mihia, Te Ruakiora, Ruamahanga, along Ruamahanga, Te Uruhinga, Te Kata, the bridge at Wai- hinga, Te Ekeotengarara, Te Whareaporou at Whakaka, and onward to the peg at the starting-point. This land was cut out at the sale of Pouhangiua.
The Governor ... Te Umukereru, near Ti- kiwhakairo Commencing at the mouth of Matiti, running thence to Te Waiwhakaata; thence to Mau- rioho; thence down the Maurioho (a stream) to the Wainuioru River; thence northward up the Wainuioru River to the mouth of the Matiti (a creek).
