HIS Excellency the Administrator of the Govern-
ment has been pleased to issue Letters of
Naturalisation, under "The Aliens Act, 1880," in
favour of the under-mentioned persons, viz. :-

Application for Registration of Two Trade Marks.

NOTICE is hereby given that EDWARD WATERS,
Patent Agent, of Melbourne, in the Colony of
Victoria, has applied, on behalf of ROBERT HARPER
and WILLIAM HARPER, trading under the name or
style of "Robert Harper and Company," at No. 12,
Flinders Lane East, in the City of Melbourne and
Colony of Victoria, Merchants, to register, under
"The Trade Marks Act, 1866," the trade marks of
which the following is a description, viz. :-

Description of Trade Marks.

No. 1 consists of the device of a lion's head.
No. 2 consists of an oblong label, in the centre of
which is the device of a lion's head, and above the
device are the words "Empire Compy's.," and below
it the word "Packet." In the lower portion of the
label is a space intended for the reception of the
name of the article to which such trade mark is to
be applied.

Nature of the Articles to which it is intended such
Trade Marks shall apply.

Regulations for the Management of the Dunsandel
Cemetery, County of Selwyn.

THE following rules and regulations for the manage-
ment of the Dunsandel Cemetery, having been
submitted to His Excellency the Administrator of the
Government in Council, are published in accordance
with "The Cemeteries Management Act, 1877."

RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR DUNSANDEL CEME-
TERY, COUNTY OF SELWYN.

  1. The Trustees appointed by the Governor under
    "The Cemeteries Management Act, 1877," shall have
    the entire control and management of the Dunsandel
    Cemetery.

  2. The Trustees have power by the said Act to
    allocate portions of the cemetery to the various re-
    ligious denominations requiring the same. No in-
    terference will be permitted with such allocations. A
    portion of the cemetery will be set apart as open
    ground for purposes of general interment.

  3. The exclusive right of burial in perpetuity in
    any plot of ground may be sold by the Trustees, to
    persons applying for the same, at £1 per plot.

  4. Applications for this purpose may be made to
    the Trustees or to the Secretary, or other person
    authorized by them to receive the same.

  5. In event of any person wishing to purchase a
    plot in any part of the cemetery not already plotted,
    such person must pay all costs of survey by a quali-
    fied surveyor.

  6. Every burial-plot shall be 9 feet by 4 feet, and
    every grave 6 feet in depth at the least. In the
    event of the purchaser of private ground desiring a
    greater depth, an extra charge of 2s. 6d. shall be
    made for every foot more than 6 feet.

  7. Any purchaser of private ground may transfer
    his or her interest therein to any other person upon
    payment of a fee of 5s. for such transfer.

  8. A plan of the cemetery shall be kept, showing
    the plots as laid off in the several divisions, and each
    plot shall have a separate number on the plan.

  9. A book shall be kept in which shall be entered
    the number of every plot sold, the name of the pur-
    chaser thereof, together with the date of the sale or
    transfer of the same. A register shall also be kept
    of all burials in the cemetery, which register shall be
    open for inspection of the public.

  10. In all cases of intended interment the person
    having the management or control of the same shall
    apply to the sexton or other duly-authorized person
    for a warrant for such interment, which warrant shall
    be granted upon payment of the following fees, viz.:---

Reopening grave or vault, £1.

  1. The whole or a part of the foregoing costs and
    charges will be remitted, on proof being given to the
    satisfaction of the Trustees that the person for whom
    application for interment is made was a pauper or
    in poor circumstances at the time of his or her death,
    and that there are not sufficient funds applicable for
    the purpose, and that no person is liable for the pay-
    ment of such costs and charges.

  2. Orders for interment must be given at least
    twelve hours prior to the hour fixed for the funeral.
    The following particulars must accompany the
    order :-

for the time being in force for the management of the said
cemetery.
