NOTICE is hereby given that the several parcels of

the provisions of "The Land Transfer Act, 1870,"
unless caveat be lodged forbidding the same in each
case within one calendar month after date of Gazette
containing this notice.

Mining Notices.
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CONSTRUCT A WATER-
RACE.
Tuapeka, 11th August, 1882.
To the Warden at Lawrence.
WE hereby give notice that we intend to construct
a Water-race to divert and use water for mining
purposes, commencing at a point on west side of
Gabriel's Creek, opposite Drew's residence area in
Gabriel's Gully, two and a half miles from Lawrence,
and terminating at Commissioner's Hill, Gabriel's
Gully.
The length of such race is one and a half miles or
thereabouts, and its intended course is north and
south.
The mean depth of such race is 2 feet, and the
mean breadth 3 feet; and it is proposed to divert
eight Government-heads of water.
AH CHONG, CHOW LYE, AH YEUM, AH BING, AH
FUN, FON YUNG, AH TSAN, JOE YUN.
