Terms and Conditions of Sale.—The first half-year's
rent to be paid on fall of hammer either by cheque
marked by banker or in cash, and thereafter by half-
yearly payments in advance on the first days of Sep-
tember and March in each year. Possession will be
given on the 1st March, 1883. Valuations for im-
provements, if any, which shall in no case exceed
three times the amount of the average annual rent
paid under the existing leases, are to be paid to the
Secretary to the School Commissioners, at his office,
Colonial Bank Buildings, Dunedin, one month before
getting possession.
The new lessee shall be entitled to valuation for
improvements up to a limit of three years' rental.
And also at the same time and place the High
School Board of Governors will submit the under-
mentioned leases, viz. :--

Run No. 213A; term, 10 years. Upset rental, not
yet fixed. Area, 16,048 acres.

auction, in the Land Office, Hokitika, on Wednesday,
the 16th day of August proximo, at 2 o'clock p.m.
Town of Kumara: Section 347, containing 20
perches. Upset price, £5; with value for improve-
ments added, £8.
Rural Land: Section 2132, situated in Block
CLII., Mahinapua Survey District, containing 20
acres. Upset price, £20; with value for improvements
added, £72 10s.
The remaining portion of Block CLII. in the above
district, comprising about 100 acres, will likewise be
submitted.
