§ II.—Passports to Naturalised British Subjects in
the Colonies.
- Governors are authorized to issue passports
for foreign travel to persons naturalised in their
respective colonies. The form of passport is inserted
in the appendix (page 317). These passports must
be signed by the Officer Administering the Govern-
ment, and must contain an express declaration that
the person receiving the passport has been naturalised
as a British subject in the colony.

13. The Trustees shall have power to prevent the
planting of anything on any grave which they may
consider objectionable or detrimental to the cemetery.
14. Any purchaser of private gronnd in which no
interment shall have taken place may transfer his or
her interest in said ground to any other person upon
payment being made to the Clerk of the cemetery for
the time being of a fee of 5s. for such transfer.
15. The costs and charges of the burial of any
person in such cemetery will be remitted on proof
being given to the satisfaction of the Trustees that
such person was a pauper at the time of his death,
and that there are no funds applicable, and no person
is liable, for the payment of such costs and charges.

Regulations for Dipton Cemetery, County of South-
land.

THE following rules for the management of the
Dipton Cemetery, having been submitted to
His Excellency the Administrator in Council, are
published in accordance with "The Cemeteries
Management Act, 1877."

RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE DIPTON CEME-
TERY.
- A portion of the cemetery shall be surveyed
into allotments of 10 feet by 8 feet, and 10 feet by
4 feet. - The exclusive right of burial in perpetuity in
these allotments may be acquired at the following
rates, viz. :-

- Those grave-sites occupied before survey of the
cemetery may be similarly acquired, according to the
dimensions shown on the plan, on payment of the
sum of £2 for each lot. - In all cases of intended interment the person
having the management or control of the same shall
apply to the Clerk of the cemetery for the time being
for a warrant for such interment, which warrant the
Clerk is hereby authorized to grant. - The person applying for a warrant shall be
liable for the payment of the following fees, viz. :-

- The said warrant when received by the grave-
digger shall be sufficient authority to him for each
interment. - All graves shall not be less than 6 feet deep.
- Should any person require a grave dug deeper
than 6 feet, an extra charge of 2s. per foot shall be
made. - The Clerk for the time being shall keep a book,
in which he shall enter from time to time the num-
ber of every lot sold, the name of the purchaser
thereof, together with the date of sale of the same,
and shall keep a record of burials in the cemetery. - The Clerk for the time being shall receive the
purchase-money for the sale of such lots, and shall
give a receipt for the same, which receipt shall be
held conclusive evidence of the selection and purchase
of the lot mentioned therein. - All fences erected around any lot must be kept
within the pegs of such lot. - All graves, gravestones, and fences must be

Sheffield, England, Manufacturer of Butchers' Knives,
Shoe-knives, and other similar Knives, General
Cutlery, and Steels, trading as "John Wilson," to
register, under "The Trade Marks Act, 1866," the
trade mark of which the following is a description,
