NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CONSTRUCT A WATER-
RACE.

Tuapeka, 9th May, 1882.

To the Warden at Lawrence.

W hereby give notice that we intend to construct
a Water-race to divert and use water for mining
purposes, commencing at a point in a gully (marked

  1. about 200 yards below Robertson's Dam, on the
    east side of the Lammerlaw Creek, including water
    from gullies numbered 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, along course
    of said race, and terminating at our prospecting claim
    in Charley's Gully.

The length of such race is two miles or thereabouts,
and its intended course is south-east.

The mean depth of such race is 2 feet, and the
mean breadth 1 foot 6 inches, and it is proposed to
divert four Government heads of water, and the time
estimated for the completion of such race is six
months.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CONSTRUCT A WATER-
RACE.

To the Mining Registrar at Clyde of the Otago
Gold Fields Mining District, and all other persons
whom it may concern.

TAKE notice that it is intended to construct a
Water-race and divert water, pursuant to the
provisions of section 31 of "The Mines Act, 1877,"
commencing at a point in the Waikerikeri Creek
about 300 yards below crossing on Black's Road,
and terminating at the Molyneux River, about half
a mile below Muttontown Gully.

The length of such race is one mile or thereabouts,
and its intended course is north and south; the mean
depth of such race is 2 feet, and the mean breadth is
1 foot; and it is proposed to divert two Government-
heads of water.

And further take notice that it is intended to
construct a reservoir in connection with the said race
on eastern bank of the Waikerikeri, about 200 yards
below the head of said race; the length of bank to be
15 yards; the greatest height, 10 feet; the greatest
breadth of base, 12 feet; the area about one-quarter
of an acre, with a bywash communicating with the
Waikerikeri Creek.

The time required for the construction and com-
pletion of such race is two months.

Dated at Clyde, this 19th day of July, 1882.

register the Globe Gold-Mining Company as a
Limited Company under the provisions of "The
Mining Companies Act, 1872."

  1. The name of the Company is to be the Globe Gold-Mining
    Company (Limited).

  2. The place of operations is in the Devil's Creek District, in
    the County of Inangahua, in New Zealand.

  3. The registered office of the Company will be situated at
    Reefton.

  4. The nominal capital of the Company is eighteen thousand
    pounds, in thirty-six thousand shares of ten shillings each.

  5. The number of shares subscribed for is the whole, being
    thirty-six thousand.

  6. The number of paid-up shares is nil.

  7. The name of the Manager is William Hindmarsh.

  8. The names, addresses, and occupations of the shareholders,
    and the number of shares held by each at this date, are as

    of Inangahua, New Zealand.

  3. The registered office of the Company will be situated at

    pounds, in twenty-four thousand shares of ten shillings each.

    being not less than two-thirds of the entire number of shares in
    the Company.
