I, Dennis Gilmore MacDonnell, do solemnly and
sincerely declare that—
- I am the Manager of the said intended Com-
pany. - The above statement is, to the best of my belief
and knowledge, true in every particular; and I make
this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the
same to be true, and by virtue of an Act of the
General Assembly of New Zealand intituled "The
Justices of the Peace Act, 1866."

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership
hitherto existing between us, the undersigned,
carrying on business in copartnership as Bricklayers
and Contractors, at Christchurch, under the style or
firm of "LAMB AND ROBINSON," has this day been
dissolved by mutual consent.

KAITANGATA ROAD BOARD.
NOTICE is hereby given that, in conformity with
"The Public Works Act, 1876," it is the in-
tention of the Kaitangata Road Board to take certain
lands, hereinafter particularly described, for the pur-
pose of constructing a road; and all persons affected
are hereby requested to set forth in writing any
well-grounded objections to the taking of such lands,
and to send such objections in writing within forty
days from the date of publication hereof to the
Chairman of the Kaitangata Road Board; and notice
is further given that the plans of the said lands and
works are open for inspection at the house of the
Clerk to the said Road Board at Kaitangata.
DESCRIPTION OF LAND.
ALL that piece or parcel of land containing 2 acres
2 roods 14 perches, more or less, being part of
Sections 2 and 3, Block I., North Molyneux Survey
District, in the Provincial District of Otago; com-
mencing at a point 857 links south from the north-
Easterly by line, 655.8 links; thence North-easterly
by lines, 1425, 460.5 links; thence Easterly by line,
165.9 links; thence South-westerly by lines, 602.2
and 1473 links; thence Westerly by line, 622.2
links; thence Northerly, 104.7 links, to the starting
point.

I, JOSEPH BESWICK, Sheriff of the District of
Timaru, do hereby give notice that, under a
writ of fieri facias, duly issued out of the Supreme
Court of New Zealand, Otago and Southland Dis-
trict, I have taken in execution, at the suit of PHILIP
PALPY MOURANT FILLIEUL, the Execution Creditor,
all the estate and interest of JOHN MCMINAMIN, the
Execution Debtor, in all those pieces or parcels of
freehold land, containing in all three roods and
thirty-nine perches, situate in Maude Street, in the
Town of Waimate, being respectively Lots marked
52, 55, 56, and 57 on the plan deposited in the Dis-
trict Land Registry Office at Christchurch as number
41, which said pieces of land are part of the Rural
Section marked 5691, delineated on the public map
of the District of Waitangi, with all the buildings
thereon; and that I intend to cause the same land to
be sold at the auction-room of John Manchester,
at Waimate, on Saturday, the twelfth day of August,
at two o'clock in the afternoon, unless the debt, in-
terest, and costs payable under the said writ of fieri
facias be sooner paid.
The Solicitors for the Execution Creditor are
Messrs. O'Meagher and Richardson, of Oamaru, in
the Provincial District of Otago.

HEREBY give notice that, under a writ of fieri
facias, duly issued out of the Supreme Court of
New Zealand, Canterbury District, at the suit of
ROBERT MARTINDALE, of Lyttelton, I have taken in
execution all the right, title, and interest, being the
equity of redemption, of WILLIAM CHILDS, of Lyttel-
ton, Blacksmith—
First: In all that parcel of land containing by
admeasurement 19 perches, more or less, having a
frontage upon Exeter Street, in the Town of Lyttel-
ton, of 45 links, more or less, and being the eastern
part of the quarter-acre Section numbered 82 on the
map of the Chief Surveyor of the Provincial District
of Canterbury.
Secondly: In all that parcel of land containing by
admeasurement 25 acres, more or less, situate in the
Lincoln District, at the junction of the Ellesmere
Junction Road and the Weedon and Ellesmere Road,
and numbered 12486 on the map of the Chief Sur-
veyor of the Provincial District of Canterbury. And
that I intend to cause the same to be sold by auction,
by Messrs. Robert Wilkin and Co., at their sale-
rooms, Hereford Street, Christchurch, on Friday, the
11th day of August next, at 12 o'clock at noon,
unless the debt and costs shall have been previously
satisfied.
The Solicitor for the Execution Creditor is Henry
Newcomer Nalder, of Oxford Street, Lyttelton.
