NOTICE is hereby given that, at a general meeting
of the Shareholders of the Protestant News-
paper Company (Limited), duly convened and held on
the 31st day of May last past, a special resolution
was passed requiring the said Company to be wound
up voluntarily.
Dated at Christchurch, this 2nd day of June, 1882.

SOUTHLAND COUNTY.
I HEREBY give notice that, in pursuance of the
powers granted by “The Public Works Act,
1876,” the Southland County Council did, on the 19th
May, 1882, declare the following roads to be County
Roads within the meaning of the said Act, namely:—
The road in Gore Town District known as Main
Road, connecting Mataura–Gore Road, on west bank
of Mataura River, with the Gore–Switzer’s Road.
The portion of Medway Street, Gore, east of
Main Road, to Mataura River.

Between THOMAS WAUCHOP and ALEXANDER CAM-
ERON, Plaintiffs, and MILSON BEACH, Defendant.
I HEREBY give notice that, under a writ of fieri facias duly issued out of the Supreme Court of
New Zealand, Canterbury District, at the suit of
THOMAS WAUCHOP and ALEXANDER CAMERON, of
Southbridge, I have taken in execution the equity of
redemption of MILSON BEACH, in all that parcel of
land, being part of Rural Section No. 4477, situate
in the Town of Southbridge, and being the whole of
the land included in certificate of title, Vol. xxvi.,
folio 233; and also in Lots Nos. 3 and 4, being part
of Rural Section No. 4510; and being the land in-
cluded in certificate of title, Vol. lvii., folio 205, and
situate about two miles from the Town of South-
bridge: and that I intend to cause the same to be
sold at the auction-rooms of Messieurs H. Matson
and Co., Cashel Street, Christchurch, on Saturday,
the 8th day of July, at 2 o’clock in the afternoon,
unless the debt and costs shall have been previously
satisfied.
The Solicitor for the Execution Creditor is Thomas
Walter Stroger, Agent for John Thomas Alston, of
Southbridge.
