THE South Malvern Road Board hereby give notice that, under the provisions of “The Public Works Act, 1876,” and “The Public Works Act 1876 Amendment Act, 1878,” they propose taking for road purposes all that parcel of land containing 25 perches, more or less, being Sections 1A and 2A on the plan of the Township of South Malvern, and part of Rural Section 14758, in the Hororatu Survey District, Provincial District of Canterbury, the said sections being owned by Mary Ann Hobbs.
Plan of the above-named land will be open for inspection at the South Malvern Road Board Office, Coalgate, for forty days from this date.
And notice is hereby given to all persons affected by the taking of the said land to set forth in writing any well-grounded objections to the taking of the said land, and to send the said writing, within forty days from the publication of this notice, to the South Malvern Road Board Office, Coalgate, addressed to the said Board.

ADVERTISEMENT OF DISSOLUTION BY INSTRUMENT.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Star of Peace Division (No. 20), held at Dillmantown, a branch of the Grand Division (No. 10) of the Sons and Daughters of Temperance, is dissolved by instrument registered at this office the 11th day of May, 1881, unless within three months from the date of the Gazette in which this advertisement appears proceedings be commenced by a member or other person interested in, or having any claim on, the funds of the branch to set aside such dissolution, and the same is set aside accordingly.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto existing between us, the undersigned
ALEXANDER SMITH and WILLIAM OVEREND, in the City of Wellington, as General Wine and Spirit Merchants, under the style or firm of “Smith and Overend,” has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 30th day of April, 1882. All debts, liabilities, and engagements of the late firm of Smith and Overend will be discharged and performed by the said Alexander Smith, who is also to receive all moneys and indebtedness due and owing to the said late firm.

NASEBY WATERWORKS COMPANY (LIMITED).
NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the Shareholders, held on the 28th April, 1882, a special resolution was passed to voluntarily wind up the Company, at which meeting EDWARD T. GEORGE was appointed Liquidator. The resolution was registered at the office of the Registrar of Joint-Stock Companies, Dunedin, on the 3rd day of May.
Further notice is hereby given that a meeting of the Shareholders will be held in the Company’s office, Naseby, on Thursday, 15th June, at 8 p.m., for the purpose of confirming the said resolution, and receiving Liquidator’s report and balance-sheet, and declaring distribution of assets.

“It is hereby resolved that this Board do declare that ‘The Hawke’s Bay and Marlborough Rivers Act 1868 Amendment Act, 1881,’ do apply to the Board of Conservators of the Henley River District.”
