Description of Land in Block XIV.-1, mostly covered with tea-tree and flax, soil shallow and wet, all level, considerable portion marsh, overflowed at high-spring tides; the same description applies to 2 and 3; 4, about one-half marsh, remainder tea-tree scrub; 5, all level, one-fifth swamp, remainder tea-tree and flax, some kahikatea; 6, about one-fifth marsh, remainder tea-tree and flax; 7, about one-third rich swamp, a few acres marsh, remainder tea-tree and flax, tidal creek runs up to this lot, navigable at high water for boats; 8, three-quarters rich swamp, remainder tea-tree, &c.; 9, about half first-class, remainder indifferent quality, tea-tree, &c.
