NATIVE LAND COURT ACT, 1880.
Notice of Times and Places for Investigating Claims.

NOTICE is hereby given that the claims, on behalf of themselves and others, of the several persons
whose names are mentioned in the first column of the Schedule hereunder written, to the several
blocks of land of which the names and localities are mentioned in the second column, the boundaries of
which are published in the third column will be investigated at Ohaeawai, Bay of Islands, on the 27th
day of March, 1882.

The maps of such of these lands as have been surveyed can be seen at the Courthouse of the Resident
Magistrate, Russell.

Pekama Titari ... Mangatawai, near Ohae-
awai Commences at the Tuhakino River, and goes up

to Taumatapararoro, and then goes to the
Ngaparera River, turns on Mangatawai, and
goes to Tokakopuru, turns again and goes to
Te Hamene, and then falls into the Tuhakino
River. |
| Apiata Tawaputa, Arapiu Hauiti,
Tomuri Te Awa, Hone Piro,
Tiatoa Awa, Pera Awa, Rihara
Kou, Ihaka Hui, Arena Awa,
Rika Hau, Hame Wawe, and
others | Tarakahu, near Ohaeawai | Commences at the mouth of the Ringanui, and
goes on to Tarakahu, Paieretewehea, Waiku-
rakura, and the Ngatitara River, goes up,
turns and goes to Ngaritohana, Nikaumotu-
motuhia, Kohatuhuri, Pupukaeore, Ngamoko-
o-Kauharu, Whakamatenga-o-Piwakawaka, the
Tokowhero River, the Government boundary,
the road to Kaikohe, Te Waipuna, Puataataiti,
Puataatanui, the Kowhiti River, the Tara-
murua River, the mouth of the Taata, and
thence straight to the mouth of the Ringa-
nui. |
| Wiremu Penetana, Hone Mate-
nga, Hare Katene, Wi Tima,
Wi Tuwhai, Penetana Kohu-
maru, Pera Awa, and others | Tawaraunui, near Kai-
kohe | Commences at Waitorerua, and goes northwards
to the wire fence, turns and goes east-
wards to the Pa in Pariheihei No. 1, turns
and goes southwards to the boundary of Kai-
kohe, turns and goes westwards to Waitore-
rua. |
