HAVING considered the application of Te Pokiha Taranui and others in this behalf, dated the 21st day
of October last, and received by me on the 27th day of the same month, for the rehearing of a claim
to the block of land called Pukohu, in the District of Bay of Plenty, which was decided by the Native
Land Court at Whakatane on the 20th and 21st days of October, 1881, I hereby, in pursuance of the
authority given to me by "The Native Land Court Act, 1880," dismiss the same.

i tae mai nei ki ahau i te 27 o nga ra o Oketopa, 1881, i whakawakia taua whenua e te Kooti Whenua
Maori ki Whakatane, i te 20 me te 21 o nga ra o Oketopa, 1881, a i runga i te mana kua homai nei ki ahau
e "Te Ture Kooti Whenua Maori, 1880," ka whakakorea e ahau taua tono.

Notice of Times and Places for Investigating Claims.

NOTICE is hereby given that the claims, on behalf of themselves and others, of the several persons
whose names are mentioned in the first column of the Schedule hereunder written, to the several
blocks of land of which the names and localities are mentioned in the second column, the boundaries of
which are published in the third column, will be investigated at Gisborne, Poverty Bay, on the 30th day
of January next, and following days.

The maps of such of these lands as have been surveyed can be seen at the Courthouse of the Resident
Magistrate, Gisborne.

Name of Claimant. Name and Locality of Block. Boundaries.
Mika Rore, Matenga Taihuka, Peti Taihuka, and Thaia Patu-tahi Ngaihiihiopuanga, near Turanga Commences at Te Matatu, and goes on to Ngai-hiihiopuanga, then goes along by the Manga-tupehau River to Tarata, Te Kopaatuaki, Motuapouahi, Te Waihirere, and thence to the commencement.
