THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.
Victoria, has applied, on behalf of the BLACKWALL
GALVANIZED IRON COMPANY (LIMITED), carrying on
business at 27, Lombard Street, in the City of London,
in England, to register, under "The Trade Marks
Act, 1866," the trade marks, of which the following
is a description, viz. :-
No. 1 consists of the device of a ribbon entwined
around a pole. In the centre of this device is the
representation of a castellated crown, on which is the
word "Thames." The blank spaces in the device are
for the reception of words indicative of the quality
and character of the iron.
No. 2 also consists of the device of a ribbon en-
twined around a pole. In the centre of this device
is the representation of a castellated crown, on which
is the word "Foplar." The blank spaces in the
device are for the reception of words indicative of the
quality and character of the iron.
No. 3 also consists of the device of a ribbon en-
twined around a pole. In the centre of this device
is the representation of a castellated crown, on which
is the word "Blackwall." The blank spaces in the
device are for the reception of words indicative of the
quality and character of the iron.
No. 4 consists of the device of a tree, having under-
neath it a ribbon, on which is the word "Kauri."
No. 5 consists of the device of a standard, with a
pennant attached, bearing the word "Thames."
No. 6 consists of the device of two concentric
rings surrounding a standard, with a flag attached.
Across the centre of the flag is the word "Blackwall,"
and in the several corners the initial letters B.G.I.C.
In the annular space formed by the two concentric
rings are the words "The Blackwall Galvanized Iron
Company (Limited)."
Nature of the Article to which it is intended such
Trade Marks shall apply.

TOOL COMPANY, of Providence, Rhode Island, in the
United States of America, Sewing Machine Manu-
facturers, to register, under "The Trade Marks Act,
1866," the trade mark of which the following is a
description, viz. :-
