SCHEDULE.
APPLICANT: Thomas Hunter. Style under which it
is intended to conduct the business: "The Rising
Star Gold-Mining Company." 16 acres 2 roods, on
the right-hand branch of Big River, about nine miles
west of Big River lease application, Inangahua, in
the Nelson South-West Mining District.
Applicants: Robert Nugent, Arthur J. Breen, and
James Pollock. Style under which it is intended to
conduct the business: "Golden Valley Gold-Mining
Company." 16. acres 2 roods, north of the Rising
Star lease application, on the right-hand branch of
Big River, about nine miles up Inangahua, in the
Nelson South-West Mining District.
Given under my hand, at Nelson, this eleventh

N conformity with the thirty-seventh section of
IN conformity with the thirty-seventh section of
"The Mines Act, 1877," and with the regula-
tions made under that Act for the granting of leases
for gold-mining purposes, it is hereby notified that it
is intended to grant a lease of Crown lands for gold-
mining purposes to the applicant specified in the
annexed Schedule, unless there shall be valid
objections against such lease.
Objections to the granting of such lease, stating
the grounds of objection, must be made in writing,
and lodged with the Warden at Queenstown on or
before the 18th day of December, 1882.
Copy of the application made and plan annexed
may be seen at the Warden's Office at Queenstown.
SCHEDULE.
APPLICANT: William Caldwell. Style under which
it is intended to conduct the business: "Hit or
Miss." 10 acres, in the Wakatipu Mining District.

is intended to grant a lease of Crown lands for gold-
mining purposes to the applicant specified in the
annexed Schedule, unless there shall be valid objec-
tions against such lease.
Objections to the granting of such lease, stating
the grounds of objection, must be made in writing,
and lodged with the Warden at Westport on or
before the 4th day of January, 1883.
Copy of the application made and plan annexed

South-West Mining District.
