NOTICE is hereby given that, in exercise of the
powers vested in it by the fourteenth section
of "The Public Health Act, 1876," the Central
Board of Health has appointed
BENJAMIN NAYLOR,
ALEXANDER Joss, and
LESLIE DUNCAN MCGEORGE
to be Members of the Local Board of Health for the
District of Clyde, in the County of Vincent, as the
same is hereinafter described, that is to say, —
All that area in the Provincial District of Otago,
situated in the County of Vincent, and bounded
towards the North-west by the Leaning Rock Creek
to its source; thence towards the North by a right
line drawn due east to the Waikerikeri; towards the
East generally by that creek to the Black's Road, by
that road to the eastern boundary-line of Section No.
77 of Block I., Leaning Rock Survey District; thence
by said eastern boundary-line, and by the north-
eastern and south-eastern boundary-lines of Section
No. 72 (a recreation-reserve), and by the production
of the last-named boundary-line to the Clutha River;
and towards the South-west by the said river to
Leaning Rock Creek: as the same is delineated on
the plans in the Survey Office, Dunedin.

TOMLINSON AND HAYWARD, of Lincoln, England, to
register, under "The Trade Marks Act, 1866," the
trade mark of which the following is a description,

Description of Trade Mark.
A shield divided into four compartments, and sus-
pended by a drapered cord, having the words
"Glycerine Dip" above and "Trade Mark" below
the shield. In the top right-hand compartment of
the shield is a roebuck or deer courant, top left-hand
a sheep suspended by a cord, the bottom right-hand
a pair of scales (as emblem of justice), bottom left-
hand a crowned lion rampant,
