Applications may be made at the Land Offices,
Patea or Hawera, on Monday, the 18th December.
Applicants for any of the above lands may also send
their applications and deposits, with statutory declara-
tion as required by “The Land Act, 1877,” through
the post to the Land Office, Patea, to arrive on or
before Monday, the 18th December. Envelopes should
be marked “Application for deferred-payment land,
Survey District.”
Residence not compulsory.
In the event of more than one application being
received for any one section, the right to occupy the
same will be decided by public auction, at Patea, on
Wednesday, the 20th December, at 11 o’clock a.m.

The following sections previously taken up on
deferred payments, but having been forfeited for
non-fulfilment of conditions by the selectors, will be
offered by auction, in terms of section 71 of “The
Land Act, 1877.”—
