THE following changes in the Stock Department
are published for general information :-

In the Auckland Sheep, Cattle, and Branding Dis-
tricts.

Inspector Campbell Thomson, from Bay of Plenty
Subdivision, has been appointed, from 1st May,
1881, to take charge of the Marsden Subdivision,
to reside at Warkworth, and to be Registrar of
Brands for the Marsden Branding District, vice
A. G. Howard.

In the Wellington Sheep District.

Inspector T. Telford has retired, from 30th Septem-
ber, 1881.

In the Nelson Sheep, Cattle, and Branding Districts.

Inspector J. Gallagher, Buller and Grey Subdivision,
has resigned, from 30th September, 1881.

In the Marlborough and Waiau Sheep, Cattle, and
Branding Districts.

Inspector R. F. Hargrave, Waiau District, has re-
signed, from 30th September, 1881.

Inspector A. K. Blundell, Blenheim Subdivision, has
been appointed, from 31st January, 1882, to take
charge of the Picton Subdivision, and to be Regis-
trar of Brands for the Picton Branding District,
vice Inspector H. A. MacShane, removed to Otago
District.

In the Otago Sheep, Cattle, and Branding Districts.

Inspector J. Thomson, Port Chalmers Subdivision,
has retired, from 30th September, 1881.

Inspector C. K. Roskruge, from Dunstan Subdivision,
has been appointed, from 31st January, 1882, to
take charge of the Port Chalmers Subdivision, to
reside at Dunedin, and to be Registrar of Brands
for the Dunedin Branding District, vice J. Thomson,
retired.

Inspector H. A. MacShane, from Picton Subdivision,
has been removed, from 31st January, 1882, to
the Tapanui Subdivision, to reside at Clinton.

Mr. Richard Bourchier, Mr. Alfred Douglass, Mr.
Thomas J. Miles, and Mr. Robert Stewart have
been appointed, from 24th January, 1882, to be
Inspectors of Sheep.

Inspector J. Miles has been appointed, from 31st
January, 1882, to take charge of the Dunstan Sub-
division, to reside at Naseby, and to be Registrar
of Brands for the Dunstan Branding District, vice
Inspector Roskruge, removed to the Port Chalmers
Subdivision.
