Notifying Issue of Writs, Date of Polling, &c.

Clerk of the Writs' Office,
Wellington, 9th November, 1881.

IN pursuance of a warrant under the hand of His
Excellency the Governor, dated the eighth day
of November instant, directed to me as Clerk of the
Writs, I have this day issued writs to all Returning
Officers commanding them to proceed to the election
of Members of the House of Representatives; and
have fixed Friday, the ninth day of December next,
as the day upon which the poll for such elections
shall (if necessary) be taken, and Monday, the nine-
teenth day of December next, as the day on or before
which the said writs shall be returnable to me.
