NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE
OF THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 3, 1881.

WELLINGTON, WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 9, 1881.

Writs issued for Election of Members of the House of Representatives.

TO ALL TO WHOM THESE PRESENTS SHALL COME—GREETING:

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS I, being desirous that the General Assembly should be holden as soon
as may be, do declare that I have this day signed my Warrant for the issue of
Writs, in due form, for the election of duly qualified persons to serve as Members of
the House of Representatives, for all the Electoral Districts within the Colony of
New Zealand.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Honorable Arthur
Hamilton Gordon, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished
Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Her Majesty's High Com-
missioner for the Western Pacific, Governor and Commander-in-Chief
in and over Her Majesty's Colony of New Zealand and its Dependen-
cies, and Vice-Admiral of the same ; and issued under the Seal of the
said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this eighth
day of November, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred
and eighty-one.
