Calling out for Actual Service certain Volunteer
Corps.
ARTHUR GORDON, Governor.
WHEREAS by the thirty-sixth section of "The
Volunteer Act, 1881," it is enacted, inter alia,
that the Governor may at any time call out for
actual service any Volunteer corps, or any part
thereof, and that every officer and volunteer belong-
ing to any corps so called out shall be bound to
assemble at such place as the Governor may direct,
and shall remain on actual service until released by
the Governor's authority:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur Hamilton Gordon, the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby
call out for actual service the several Volunteer
corps named in the Schedule hereto; and I do hereby
direct the officers and volunteers of each of the said
corps to assemble at the place mentioned, and set
opposite to the name of such corps in the Schedule
aforesaid.
