MINING LEASE APPLICATION WITHDRAWN.

Naseby, 1st October, 1881.
NOTICE is hereby given that the application of
ALEXANDER MCKAY for a gold-mining lease of
10 acres at bed of Taieri River, about seven miles
below Hyde Bridge, lodged at the Warden's office,
Hyde, on the 20th day of October, 1880, has been
withdrawn; and the ground referred to in such
application is open to persons holding miners' rights
or business licenses, or to applicants for a lease, as if
no lease of the said ground had ever been applied for.

MICHAEL FAHEY and PATRICK O'HARA for a
gold-mining lease of 4 acres of land at Jones's
Gully, half a mile from Landslip, and two miles from
the Township of St. Bathans, lodged at the Warden's
office, Naseby, on the 3rd day of August, 1881, has
been withdrawn; and that the ground referred to in
such application is open to persons holding miners'
rights or business licenses, or to applicants for a
lease, as if no lease of the said ground had ever been
applied for.

I, the undersigned, hereby make application to
register the Britannia Gold-Mining Company
as a Limited Company under the provisions of "The
Mining Companies Act, 1872."
- The name of the Company is to be the Britannia Gold-
Mining Company (Limited). - The place of operations is at the Tiki, Coromandel.
- The registered office of the Company will be situated at
Coromandel. - The nominal capital of the Company is seven thousand
pounds, in fourteen thousand shares of ten shillings each. - The number of shares subscribed for is twelve thousand,
being not less than two-thirds of the entire number of shares in
the Company.. - The number of paid-up shares is one thousand.
- The amount already paid-up is five hundred pounds.
- The name of the Manager is Edward Lister Green.
- The names, addresses, and occupations of the shareholders,
and the number of shares held by each at this date, are as

pounds, in fifteen thousand shares of one pound each. - The number of shares subscribed for is fifteen thousand,
being the entire number of shares in the Company. - The number of paid-up shares is nil.
- The amount already paid up is nil.
