COUNTY OF WHANGAREI.
Parish of Maungatapere.

Description of Land.—About one-quarter level, soil fair, remaining portion broken, stream forms fence, small portion of bush on edge of stream; 130, two-thirds level, soil fair, remaining portion broken.

HOBSON COUNTY.
Parish of Kopuru.

Description of Land.—55, undulating and swampy, soil sandy, covered with tea-tree scrub; 56, flat, swampy land.

RODNEY COUNTY.
Parish of Mahurangi.

Description of Land.—The land in these sections is very broken and heavily timbered, the forest is of mixed description, having a fair quantity of totara and kauri; it is well watered and accessible by road.

MANGONUI COUNTY.
Takahue Survey District.

Description of Land. — Sections 1 and 2, one-third flat, remainder undulating, two-thirds mixed forest, well watered; 3, one-half flat, remainder undulating, one-half mixed forest, well watered; 4, two-thirds flat, remainder undulating, one-third mixed forest, well watered; 5, one-third flat, remainder broken, three-fourths mixed forest, well watered; 6, one-third flat, remainder broken, nearly all forest; 7, one-fourth flat, remainder undulating and broken, nearly all forest; 8, very little flat, all forest; 10 and 11, one-half undulating, one-half broken, all forest; 12, 13, 14, 15, and 16, undulating, all forest, good totara timber on Section 16. The road from Herd’s Point, Hokianga, to Victoria Valley, Mangonui, which is now open for traffic, passes through Block XV., Takahue.

MANGONUI COUNTY.
Whangaroa Survey District.

Description of Land.—Undulating pastoral land, covered with short tea-tree and fern; a little bush on Section 7; accessible by road, and, with the exception of Section 6, fronting Whangaroa Harbour.

BAY OF ISLANDS COUNTY.—WAIKAPOPOA BLOCK.
Russell Survey District.

Description of Land.—Rather broken, covered with fern and short tea-tree scrub, well watered, and having a small frontage to main road from Russell to Waikare and Whangaruru.

COROMANDEL COUNTY.—MOEHAU NO. 11 BLOCK.
Moehau Survey District.

Description of Land.—Broken land, two-thirds covered with mixed bush, remainder light tea-tree and fern.

NOTE.—Plans of the above lands may be seen, and further particulars of the land obtained, on application at this office.

Terms of Sale: One-fourth of purchase-money to be paid at time of sale, and the balance within one month thereafter, otherwise the part of the purchase-money paid by way of deposit shall be forfeited, and the contract for the sale of the land shall henceforth be null and void.

Crown-grant fee to be paid on completion of purchase.

Sale of Land in the Township of Fairlie Creek.

IN virtue of the authority contained in an Order in Council of the 30th October, 1880, the Land Board of the Land District of Canterbury gives notice that the under-mentioned allotments in the Township of Fairlie Creek will be sold by auction at McLeod’s Hotel, Albury, on Wednesday the 16th November next, at 12 o’clock.

Block III., Allotments Nos. 1 to 24 inclusive, each 1 rood. Upset price, £5 per allotment.

Block VII., Allotments Nos. 1 to 6 inclusive, each 1 rood. Upset price, £5 per allotment.

The Government have decided to put the railway station on the reserve in this township.

Sale plan may be seen at the Survey Offices, Christchurch and Timaru, and the Railway Stations at Timaru, Temuka, and Albury.
