Agricultural Lease cancelled.

IT is hereby notified that His Excellency the
Administrator of the Government has been
pleased to pronounce the under-mentioned agricul-
tural lease cancelled, and that the ground is now
open for application as if no lease of the said ground
had ever been applied for:—
Louis Davies; 96 acres 2 roods 24 perches, Reef-
ton, Nelson South-West Mining District. No. 173.

mining lease cancelled, and that the ground is now

Frederick West; 5 acres 1 rood 12 perches, Colling-
wood Mining District. No. 245.

Gold-Mining Lease to be granted.
IN conformity with the thirty-seventh section of
"The Mines Act, 1877," and with the regulations
made under that Act for the granting of leases for
gold-mining purposes, it is hereby notified that it is
intended to grant a lease of Crown lands for gold-
mining purposes to the applicants specified in the
annexed Schedule, unless there shall be valid objec-
tions against such lease.
Objections to the granting of such lease, stating
the grounds of objection, must be made in writing,
and lodged with the Warden at Charleston on or
before the 3rd day of October, 1881.
Copy of the application made and plan annexed
may be seen at the Warden's Office at Charleston.
SCHEDULE.
APPLICANTS: Patrick O'Sullivan and Thomas O'Cal-
laghan. Style under which it is intended to conduct
the business: "Nora Creina Gold-Mining Company."
6 acres, Bromelau Creek, east of bridge, Brighton
Road, in the Nelson South-West Mining District.

teenth day of September, one thousand

Gold-Mining Leases to be granted.
IN conformity with the thirty-seventh section of
"The Mines Act, 1877," and with the regulations
made under that Act for the granting of leases
for gold-mining purposes, it is hereby notified that it
is intended to grant leases of Crown lands for gold-
mining purposes to the applicants specified in the
annexed Schedule, unless there shall be valid objec-
tions against such leases.
Objections to the granting of such leases, stating

the 25th day of October, 1881.

Collins. Style under which it is intended to conduct
the business: "No. 2 South British Gold-Mining
Company." 16 acres 2 roods, south of and adjoining
the South British lease, Lyell, in the Nelson South-
West Mining District.

IN conformity with the thirty-seventh section of
"The Mines Act, 1877," and the regulations
thereunder for the granting and issue of mineral
leases, it is hereby notified that it is intended, after
the expiration of thirty days from the publication of
this notice, to grant leases for coal-mining purposes
to the applicant, and for the lands specified in the
Schedule hereto.
The applications, together with plans and papers
in connection therewith, can be seen at the Crown
Lands Office, Dunedin.

Block I., Bannockburn, containing 15 acres and 5
perches. Term applied for: Thirty years. Mining
