machinery. Such meat must have been collected in
a refrigerating chamber in this colony, and must
have been landed in Europe in sound marketable
condition.

CONDITIONS.

NOTICE of intention to claim any of the above
bonuses must be given in writing to the Colonial
Secretary not later than the 31st December, 1881.
The claim must be made before the 30th June,
1882.
The other conditions as to quantity, quality, and
value to be fulfilled to the satisfaction of an officer
appointed for the purpose by the Government.

obtained by application at the Colonial Secretary's
Office.

Approving of Alteration of Toll, Wanganui Bridge.

HIS Excellency the Governor in Council has, in
pursuance of the provisions of "The Wanganui
Harbour and River Conservators Board Act, 1876,"
been pleased to approve of the following regulations
made by the Wanganui Harbour Board with respect
to tolls and dues to be imposed on persons making
use of the Wanganui Bridge.

In pursuance of "The Wanganui Harbour and River
Conservators Board Act, 1876," and under and by
virtue of the powers and provisions contained in the
said Act, and all other powers it thereunto enabling,
the Wanganui Harbour Board (hereinafter called
"the Board") makes the following by-law, that is to
say, -

  1. Clause number six (6) of By-law number six (6)
    of the Council of the Borough of Wanganui, bearing
    date the twenty-fourth day of April, 1874, is hereby
    repealed as from the day in which the present by-law
    shall come into operation, and in lieu thereof the
    following clause is substituted: -

That all children under the age of fifteen years
passing and repassing the bridge on foot on
their way to or from any school which they
may be attending, and all children under the
age of fifteen years passing and repassing the
bridge on foot on Sunday on their way to or
from any Sunday-school, shall pass free: Pro-
vided that it shall be lawful for the lessee to
require the production of a certificate, under
the hand of a teacher or one of the teachers
at any such school, that the child or children
mentioned therein is or are in attendance at
such school.

  1. After the words "reckoning from midnight to
    midnight," at the end of section number one (1) in
    By-law number eight (8) of the Council of the
    Borough of Wanganui, dated the fifth day of April,
    1875, the following words shall be added and be read
    with the rest of the section: -

or animals in harness having passed with any
vehicle: Provided also that, in the case of any
horse passing in harness and repassing with a
vehicle, the toll paid for the horse shall be
deducted from the charge attached to the
vehicle.

hath been hereunto affixed this eighth day of July,

one thousand eight hundred and eighty-one, in the

In the Supreme Court of New Zealand. - Divorce
and Matrimonial Causes Jurisdiction.

NOTICE is hereby given that three or more of the
Judges of the Supreme Court of New Zealand
will sit at the Supreme Courthouse, Wellington, on
Monday, the twenty-first day of November next, at
eleven o'clock in the forenoon, to hear and deter-
mine petitions for the dissolution or for a sentence
of nullity of marriage under section 60 of "The
Divorce and Matrimonial Causes Act, 1867;" and
also for the despatch of all other business accruing
under the said Act.

Court Act, 1875," appointed THOMAS ROBERT PEN-
NINGTON, of the City of Liverpool, in the County of
Lancaster, in England, gentleman, a Solicitor of the
Supreme Court of Judicature in England, to be a
Commissioner in England of the Supreme Court of
New Zealand, for the purpose of taking affidavits and
acknowledgments of married women.
