by ship, the maximum charge will be 6s. 6d. per ton,
including wharfage, loading, and unloading.
Class H.-Wool.
The rate for wool from Blenheim to Picton is hereby
cancelled, and the following substituted: Wool from
Blenheim to Picton will be charged 1s. 6d. per bale
for undumped, and 2s. 6d. per bale for double dumped,
to include all charges for loading and unloading, and
wharfage.
Flax dressed and pressed will be charged as Class
D. Maximum rate, 9s. 6d. per ton, including loading,
unloading, and wharfage.
WESTPORT SECTION.
Ships' Ballast.
The charge for receiving and discharging ships'
ballast will be 1s. per ton. Minimum charge, Β£1.
NELSON SECTION.
Class K.-Timber.
The local rate for timber is hereby cancelled.
HURUNUI-BLUFF SECTION.
Port Chalmers.
All goods not carried by rail, but loaded on to or
discharged from the railway wharves, will be charged
1s. per ton.
NEW PLYMOUTH SECTION.
The regulation about ships' goods at Waitara is
hereby cancelled.
PART VII.
CLASSIFICATION OF GOODS.
"Flax dressed and pressed." If unpressed, rate
and a half will be charged, as Class D.
"Beer, bottled, packed, at owners' risk," will be
charged Class B.
"Cider, bottled, packed, at owners' risk," will be
charged Class B.

directions for vessels of heavy draught entering Port
Philip Heads, dated the 17th March, 1881, pilots,

the inner beacon has been altered from white to
chequered black and white.
