containing 24 acres and 27 perches. Bounded
towards the North by Allotment No. 19, a road-line,
the crossing of the aforesaid road-line, again by a
road-line, Allotment No. 20 of Section No. 5, and
Allotment No. 63, of the Parish of Pakuranga, 3741
links; on the South-east and East by a road-line,
3068 links; on the South by Allotment No. 14 of
Section No. 5 aforesaid, 864 links; and on the West

All that parcel of land in the Auckland Land
District, situate in the Parish of Pakuranga, Ota-
huhu Survey District, being Lot No. 20, Section No.
5, small lots near the Village of Howick, containing
4 acres 3 roods 5 perches. Bounded towards the
North by Allotment No. 63 of the Parish of Paku-
ranga, 800 links; on the East by Allotment No. 17
of Section No. 5, 604 links; on the South by Allot-
ment No. 17, aforesaid, 700 links; and on the West
by a road-line and Allotment No. 21 of Section No.
5, 633 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or
less; as the same is delineated on the official maps in
the Survey Office, Auckland. For a quarry.

All that parcel of land in the Land District of
Auckland, being Lot No. 211, Suburbs of Gisborne,
Turanganui Survey District, and containing 8 acres
1 rood 11 perches. Bounded towards the North by
Childer's Road, 770 links; on the East by Stanley
Road, 965 links; on the South by a line, 792 links;
and on the West by Allotment No. 210, 1221 links:

WESTLAND.

All that parcel of land in the Land District of
Westland, containing 1 acre, more or less, being
reserve numbered 224 (in red), Block XVI., on the
map of the Greymouth Survey District. Bounded
towards the East by the Kumara and Greymouth
Tramway and Road-reserve, 436 links; towards the
North by Crown lands, 2294 links; towards the
West by the Beach Road, 436 links; and towards
the South by Davison's Business license Area, 229.4
links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less;
as the same is delineated on the official maps in the
Survey Office, Hokitika. For a school site.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the
Governor, this twentieth day of January,
one thousand eight hundred and eighty-

Trustees appointed for Maintenance of Kaikoura
Suburban Public Cemetery.

ARTHUR GORDON, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and au-
thorities vested in me by the second section
of "The Cemeteries Management Act, 1877," I,
Arthur Hamilton Gordon, the Governor of the
Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint the
several persons whose names are specified in the first
column of the Schedule hereto to be Trustees to
provide for the maintenance and care of the public
cemetery specified in the second column of the said
Schedule.

All that parcel of land in the Provin-
cial District of Marlborough, containing
by admeasurement 12 acres, more or less,
being Section No. 264, in the District of
Kaikoura Suburban. Bounded towards
the North by a public road; towards the
East by Scarborough Street, in the Town
of Kaikoura; towards the South by
Section No. 268; and towards the West
by a public road: as the same is de-
lineated on the official map in the Survey
Office, Blenheim.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the
Governor, this twentieth day of January,
one thousand eight hundred and eighty-
one.

Lands permanently reserved.

ARTHUR GORDON, Governor.

WHEREAS by the one hundred and forty-fourth section of "The Land Act, 1877," it is enacted that
the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the
same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then
held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which, in his opinion, are required for any of the purposes in
the said section mentioned:

And whereas by the one hundred and forty-fifth section of the said Act it is provided that land tempo-
rarily reserved under the said one hundred and forty-fourth section may, at the expiration of one month
but not later than six months after the publication in the Gazette of notice of such temporary reservation,
be permanently reserved, and that notice of such permanent reservation shall be published in the Gazette:

And whereas the lands specified in the first column of the Schedule hereto were, by the several
warrants the dates of which are specified in the third column of the said Schedule, and the notifications of
which were published in the Gazettes specified in the fourth column, temporarily reserved under the
authority of the said Act for the purposes specified in the second column of the said Schedule:
