THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

NOTICE OF WINDING-UP RESOLUTION.

In the matter of "The Joint-Stock Companies Act,
1860," and in the matter of the Mount Rangitoto
Silver-Mining Company (Limited).

NOTICE is hereby given that, at a duly-convened
extraordinary general meeting of the Share-
holders of the above-named Company, held at the
registered office, Wharf Street, Hokitika, New
Zealand, on the 30th day of May, 1881, it was
unanimously resolved that the said Company be
wound up voluntarily, and that JOHN BEVAN, of
Hokitika, aforesaid, Merchant, be appointed Liquid-
ator for the purpose of winding-up the affairs of the
said Company; which said resolutions were in like
manner duly confirmed and made special at another
extraordinary general meeting of the said Share-
holders, held at the same place, on the 30th day of
June, 1881.

Dated at Hokitika aforesaid, this 6th day of July,
1881.

THE CANTERBURY TRAMWAY COMPANY
(LIMITED).—NOTICE.

A BY-LAW made under the powers conferred on
the Company by "The Tramways Act, 1872,"
for regulating the travelling in or upon any carriage
belonging to the Company:----

Any person entering a tram-car after being in-
formed by the Conductor that the same is full, or,
having entered, refusing to leave it at the request
of the Conductor, will be liable to pay a penalty of
two pounds.

Booksellers and Advertising Agents will be allowed a com-
mission at the rate of five per cent.

All advertisements should be written on one side of the
paper, and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible hand.
The number of insertions required must be written across
the face of the advertisement.

Communications should be addressed to the Government
Printer, Wellington, to whom Post Office Money Orders should
be made payable.

Postage or duty stamps cannot in any case be received in
payment from any place at which post-office orders are issued,
and, under any circumstances, are subject to a reduction at the
rate of one shilling in the pound.

NO ADVERTISEMENT WILL BE INSERTED WITHOUT PREPAY-
MENT BEING MADE.
