Application for Registration of a Trade Mark.

NOTICE is hereby given that EDWARD WATERS,
Patent Agent, of Melbourne, in the Colony of
Victoria, has applied, on behalf of THE ZOEDONE
COMPANY (LIMITED), of London, England, and
Wrexham, Wales, Manufacturers of Zoedone, to
register, under "The Trade Marks Act, 1866," the
trade mark, of which the following is a description,
viz.:—

Description of Trade Mark.

A representation of a portion of the sun with rays
of light radiating therefrom. Upon the upper part of
sun is the word "Zoedone" arranged in curved form,
and across the rays of light, near the upper part
thereof, are the words "ohne phosphor kein gedanke"
arranged in a curved form. The word "Zoedone"
also appears prominently in a straight line across the
sun and rays, and above this word are the words and
cypher "non alcoholic aërated and phosphated iron
Beverage, Brain and nerve Tonic;" a perpendicular
line separating some of the words from others. Below
the word "Zoedone" are the words, letters, and figures,
"Patentee, David Johnson, F.C.S. Sole Manufac-
turers, the Zoedone Company (Limited), Wrexham;
London Office, 25, Abchurch Lane, E.C; some of
the words being separated from others by a per-
pendicular line. The whole of the above is enclosed
within a border curved at four corners.

Nature of the Article to which it is intended such
Trade Mark shall apply.

The aërated beverage now well known under the
name of Zoedone, manufactured by the above-named
Company.
