Place under "Public Health Act, 1876."

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance of section ninety-two of "The Public
Health Act, 1876," I, Arthur Hamilton Gordon,
the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do
hereby proclaim and notify that the City of Sydney
and the Harbour of Port Jackson, in the Colony of
New South Wales, are infected with the disease
called small-pox, being an infectious or contagious
disease highly dangerous to the health of the people.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the
Honorable Arthur Hamilton Gordon,
Knight Grand Cross of the Most Dis-
tinguished Order of Saint Michael and
Saint George, Her Majesty's High
Commissioner for the Western Pacific,
Governor and Commander-in-Chief in
and over Her Majesty's Colony of New
Zealand and its Dependencies, and Vice-
Admiral of the same; and issued under
the Seal of the said Colony, at the
Government House, at Wellington, this
eighteenth day of June, in the year of our
Lord one thousand eight hundred and
eighty-one.

Extension of Time for Preparation of County Rolls,
County of Piako.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this
seventeenth day of June, 1881.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS it has been made to appear that
certain things required to be done by "The
Rating Act, 1876," in connection with the making
and revision of the valuation roll of the outlying
district of Patetere, in the County of Piako, cannot
be done by or within the times required by the
said Act:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of
the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of the power
and authority vested in him by the said Act, and by
and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council of the said colony, doth hereby extend the
time for the doing of the said things in connection
with the valuation roll of the said outlying district
of Patetere, and doth declare that the time for the
doing of such several things shall be those which
are specified in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
- For transmitting to the county the valuation
list: On or before the 15th June, 1881. - Valuation list to be open for inspection and
objections thereto to be received: Until the 1st July,
