THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.
No. 3 Ward: Bounded on the North and West by
the Avon River; on the South-west by Nos. 1 and 2
Wards; on the South-east by the Avon and Heath-
cote Estuary; and on the East by the River Avon
and that portion of it which is defined by the cutting
passing through Section No. 460, diverting the said
river.
No. 4 Ward: Bounded on the North by the
Heathcote River and the Borough of Sydenham; on
the South by the southern boundary of the Heath-
cote Road District; on the West by Colombo Road
South and Dyer's Pass Road; and on the East by
the bridle-path.
No. 5 Ward: Bounded on the North by the Avon
and Heathcote Estuary; on the North-east by said
estuary and the sea; on the South by the southern
boundary of the said district; on the East by the
sea; and on the West by No. 4 Ward.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this
tenth day of May, 1881.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
HIS Excellency the Governor of the Colony of
New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the

powers vested in the Governor by "The Electric
Telegraph Act, 1875," and of all other powers en-
abling him in that behalf, doth, with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of New Zealand,
hereby make the regulation contained in the Schedule
hereto.
SCHEDULE.
ALL telegrams despatched to or forwarded from the
under-mentioned station shall be exempt from the
extra charge of sixpence on each telegram, imposed
by Order in Council dated the 30th day of October,
1880.

Alterations and Additions to the Rates for the Con-
veyance, Delivery, and Storage of Goods, Parcels,
&c., on the New Zealand Railways.
IN accordance with the By-laws for the New Zea-
land Railways, fixed by Order in Council dated
the 6th January, 1881, the following alterations
and additions to the rates for the conveyance,
delivery, and storage of goods, parcels, &c., on all the
New Zealand Railways, are hereby declared to be
fixed and to come into force from the 23rd May,
1881:-
PART IV.- LOCAL RATES.
PICTON.
The special rate for Class E, between Blenheim
and Picton, is hereby cancelled.
PART VIII. --WHARVES.
Class E, Blenheim to Picton, for export, will be
free.
