Goods of Classes A, B, C, D between the Port and Nelson will be charged as Class
D. Weight or measurement, according to bill of lading; other goods by weight or
measurement, as the Department directs.

GOODS.
Ships' goods, of Classes A, B, C, and D, consigned from Picton to Blenheim, will
be charged 10s. 6d. per ton, including all charges for loading, unloading, and
wharfage.
Goods, Class E, between Blenheim and Picton, will be charged 7s. 6d. per ton,
including all charges for loading, unloading, and wharfage.
Flax pressed, from Blenheim to Pieton, will be charged 12s. per ton, including all
charges for loading, unloading, and wharfage.

CLASS H.—WOOL.
Wool from Blenheim to Picton will be charged 1s. 9d. per bale for undumped,
and 3s. per bale for double-dumped, to include all charges for loading, unloading,
and wharfage.

CLASS K.—TIMBER.
Minimum rates for distances not exceeding 4 miles, 8d. per 100 superficial feet;
over 4 miles, 9d. per 100 superficial feet.

CLASS P.
Goods of Class P will be charged as Class N.

HURUNUI-BLUFF SECTION.

CLASS M.—SHEEP, PIGS, GOATS, AND CALVES.
Where sheep, pigs, goats, and calves are carried on the Amberley-Bluff Section in
trucks having one floor only, the following reductions will be made on the classified
rates, viz.:—

For distances of not more than 20 miles ... 2 s. d. 6 per truck.
For distances of over 20 miles and not more than 50 miles ... 3 0 "
For distances of over 50 miles and not more than 100 miles ... 3 6 "
For all distances over 100 miles ... 4 0 "

RANGIORA AND KAIAPOI TO CHRISTCHURCH.
For the purpose of charging for the conveyance of goods of Classes A, B, C, D,
consigned between Rangiora and Christchurch and Kaiapoi and Christchurch, the
distance will be deemed to be 16 miles and 9 miles respectively.

CHRISTCHURCH AND LYTTELTON.
Goods of Classes A, B, C, and D, from Christchurch to Lyttelton ... 5 s. d. 6 per ton.
Goods of Classes A, B, C, and D, from Lyttelton to Christchurch,
not to private sidings ... 6 11 "
Goods of Classes A, B, C, and D, from Lyttelton to Christchurch,
to private sidings ... 5 6 "
Goods of Classes A, B, C, and D, from Lyttelton to other stations on the Lyttelton-
Christchurch line, or vice versa, will be charged as Class B.
Ships' goods will be charged according to bill of lading, or by weight or measure-
ment, at option of the Department; other goods by weight or measurement, as the
Department directs.
