    of Christchurch, is the place at which printed copies
    of the draft order when deposited, and of the order
    when made, will be obtainable.

MACMILLAN v. SMITH.—WRIT OF FI FA.

WHEREAS I, the undersigned, Deputy Sheriff of
the Canterbury District, in New Zealand,
have taken in execution all the estate and interest
hereinafter mentioned in the real estate and lands
hereinafter described of JOHN SMITH, of Le Bon's
Bay, in the Provincial District of Canterbury, in the
Canterbury District of the Colony of New Zealand,
Saw-mill Proprietor, the Defendant in the said
action, at the suit of THOMAS HAMILTON MACMILLAN,
of Le Bon's Bay, in the said provincial district,
Schoolmaster, the Plaintiff in the said action, under
and by virtue of a writ of fieri facias issued out of
the said Supreme Court in the said action, in pursu-
ance of the provisions of "The Execution against
Real Estate Act, 1880," for the sum of £486 14s. 2 d.,
with interest upon the said sum at the rate of £8 per
centum per annum from the 15th day of June, 1880,
besides Sheriff's poundage, officers' fees, and other
incidental expenses and costs: Now I do hereby
give notice that it is my intention to cause all the
estate and interest of the said John Smith, being the
fee-simple, subject to the payment of the sum of £150
and interest thereon, secured by a memorandum of
mortgage under the provisions of "The Land Trans-
fer Act, 1870," and the Acts amending the same, of
and in all that piece or parcel of land containing
100 acres or thereabouts, being the Rural Section
No. 34759 on the map of the Chief Surveyor of the
said provincial district, setting out the rural land in
the County of Akaroa, as comprised in or held under
the license to occupy the same, to be sold by public
auction, by Messrs. H. Matson and Co., at their sale-
rooms, Cashel Street, Christchurch, on Saturday, the
fourth day of June next, at two o'clock in the after-
