Gold Fields Notices.
Gold-Mining Lease to be granted.
IN conformity with the thirty-seventh section of
"The Mines Act, 1877," and with the regu-
lations made under that Act for the granting of
leases for gold-mining purposes, it is hereby notified
that it is intended to grant a lease of Crown lands
for gold-mining purposes to the applicant specified
in the annexed Schedule, unless there shall be valid
objections against such lease.
Objections to the granting of such lease, stating
the grounds of objection, must be made in writing,
and lodged with the Warden at Westport on or
before the 24th day of January, 1881.
Copy of the application made and plan annexed
may be seen at the Warden's Office at Westport.
SCHEDULE.
APPLICANT: Peter Sorenson. Style under which it
is intended to conduct the business: "Sorenson's
Claim." 2 acres, at Caledonian Terrace, Buller, in
the Nelson South-West Mining District.
Given under my hand, at Nelson, this fifth
day of January, one thousand eight hun-
dred and eighty-one.

NOTICE is hereby given that the application of
William John Murray and party for a gold-
mining lease of 10 acres at Addison's Flat, Buller,
has been withdrawn, and the ground is now open to
persons holding miners' rights or business licenses, as
if a lease had not been applied for.
