Gold-Mining Lease to be granted.
IN conformity with the thirty-seventh section of
"The Mines Act, 1877," and with the regula-
tions made under that Act for the granting of leases
for gold-mining purposes, it is hereby notified that
it is intended to grant a lease of Crown lands for
gold-mining purposes to the applicants specified in
the annexed Schedule, unless there shall be valid
objections against such lease.
Objections to the granting of such lease, stating
the grounds of objection, must be made in writing,
and lodged with the Warden at Naseby on or
before the 18th day of April, 1881.
Copy of the application made and plan annexed
may be seen at the Warden's Office at St. Bathans.

Style under which it is intended to conduct the
business: "Ewing and Gannon." 10 acres, in the
Mount Ida Mining District.

Style under which it is intended to conduct the
business: "Acton Quartz-Mining Company." 16
acres 2 roods, south of the Zealandia Quartz-Mining
Company, Alpine Range, Lyell, in the Nelson South-
West Mining District.
Given under my hand, at Nelson, this twenty-
ninth day of March, one thousand eight
hundred and eighty-one.

NOTICE is hereby given that JOHN MAC-
ALLUM JAMIESON, of Dunedin, Accountant,
claiming as Devisee under the will of FINLAY FINLAY-
SON, late of Clyde Terrace, Dunedin, Settler, has
applied to be registered as Proprietor of an estate in
fee-simple in part of Section 30, Block XXXVII.,
Town of Dunedin, comprised in certificate of title,
Register-book, Vol. xxi., folio 300; and that he will be
registered as such proprietor, unless caveat be lodged
at this office forbidding the same within one calendar
month from date of publication of this notice.
