Gold-Mining Lease cancelled.

Wellington, 28th March, 1881.
IT is hereby notified that His Excellency the
Governor has been pleased to pronounce the
under-mentioned gold-mining lease cancelled, and
that the ground is now open for application as if no
lease of the said ground had ever been applied for:-
Richard Birch; 6 acres and 36 perches, District of
Charleston, Nelson South-West Gold Fields. No.
867.

vernor has been pleased to pronounce the under-
mentioned gold-mining lease cancelled, and that the
ground is now open for application as if no lease of
the said ground had ever been applied for:-
Philip McEnroe; 3 acres, District of Buller,
Nelson South-West Gold Fields. No. 775.

Gold-Mining Lease to be granted.

IN conformity with the thirty-seventh section of
"The Mines Act, 1877," and with the regula-
tions made under that Act for the granting of leases
for gold-mining purposes, it is hereby notified that
it is intended to grant a lease of Crown lands for
gold-mining purposes to the applicants specified in
the annexed Schedule, unless there shall be valid
objections against such lease.
Objections to the granting of such lease, stating
the grounds of objection, must be made in writing,
and lodged with the Warden at Arrowtown on or
before the 15th day of April, 1881.
Copy of the application made and plan annexed
may be seen at the Warden's Office at Arrowtown.

SCHEDULE.
APPLICANTS: Robert Clarke and others. Style under
which it is intended to conduct the business: "Clarke
and Company." 6 acres, in the Wakatipu Mining
District.

Given under my hand, at Dunedin, this twenty-
first day of March, one thousand eight
hundred and eighty-one.
