Schedule of Fees under "The Industrial and Provi-
dent Societies Act, 1877."
ARTHUR GORDON, Governor.
IN pursuance and exercise of the power vested in
me by "The Industrial and Provident Societies
Act, 1877," I, Arthur Hamilton Gordon, the Gover-
nor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby make
the following regulations respecting the fees to be
paid under the said Act, that is to say,-
There shall be paid to the Registrars of Industrial
and Provident Societies the following fees for and in
respect of the several matters and things herein set
forth :-
SCHEDULE OF FEES.

On sending notice for registration of situation of office,
or of any change therein, under subsection 1 (a) to
section 9 ... 0 5 0
On sending to the Registrar the annual return under
subsection 1 (d) to section 9 0 5 0
On the signing by the Registrar of the direction under
subsection 8 of section 10 ... 1 0 0
For any reference to Registrar under subsection (a)
to section 13 ... 2 0 0
On making the application to Registrar under sec-
tion 14 ... 0 5 0
On sending to the Registrar any special resolution
for any of the purposes mentioned in section 15 ... 0 5 0
On registering the instrument of dissolution under
subsection 3 (d) of section 16 ... 0 10 0
On sending notice to the Registrar of proceedings to
set aside dissolution under subsection 3 (f) of sec-
tion 16 ... 0 5 0
For every inspection of any document or record in
custody of Registrar... 0 1 0
For every copy or extract from any document or
record certified by Registrar ... 0 5 0
Where the number of folios exceed five an additional
charge for each folio in excess of five ... 0 0 6
In addition to the above, the following regulations
respecting the fees to be paid by societies to Revising
Barristers is also made, that is to say,-
Every society whose rules, or any amendments thereof,
shall be certified to by the Revising Barristers
under the said Act shall pay to such Revising
Barrister a fee of £ 1 0 0
Provided always that the said Revising Barrister
shall be entitled to no further fee in respect of any
amendment of any rules he may certify, if one fee
has already been paid within the period of three
years next before the giving of such certificate.
Throughout these regulations the sections referred
to are sections of the above-mentioned Act.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the
Governor, this nineteenth day of Decem-
ber, one thousand eight hundred and
eighty-one.

appoint
JAMES JOHN TURNBULL, Esq., J.P.,
to be a Resident Magistrate for the District of Blen-
heim, with jurisdiction to £100; Chairman of the
Licensing Courts for the Districts of Wairau, Town
of Blenheim, and Awatere; Registrar at Blenheim
of the Supreme Court; and Sheriff for the District
of Marlborough, from the 29th instant, vice W.
Stuart, Esq., transferred.
