Chief Inspector of Sheep, Napier, to be Rabbit In-
spector for the Napier District, constituted under
"The Rabbit Nuisance Act, 1881." This appoint-
ment dates from the 1st December, 1881.

ment.-Notice No. 110.

THE following changes in the Sheep, Cattle, and
Branding Department are published for general
information:-

In the Nelson Sheep and Cattle District.
Inspector B. Blower has resigned his appointments
from the 31st October, 1881.
Inspector T. Hunt, from Napier District, has been
appointed to the Nelson, Golden Bay, and
Motueka Subdivisions, and to be Registrar of
Brands for the said districts, vice B. Blower,
resigned. Such appointment to date from the
1st November, 1881.

In the Napier Sheep and Cattle District.
Cecil Augustus FitzRoy has been appointed In-
spector of Sheep and Deputy-Inspector of
Cattle for the Napier Sheep and Cattle Dis-
trict, vice T. Hunt, transferred to Nelson,
Such appointments to date from the 15th
December, 1881.

HIS Excellency the Governor has been pleased to
appoint the several persona hereafter mentioned
to be Keepers of the Police Gaols at the various
places respectively following their names:--

Acting-Sergeant William Brown to be Keeper at
Arrowtown.
Sergeant Henry W. Felton to be Keeper at Ash-
burton.
Constable Patrick Nolan to be Keeper at Clyde.
Constable James Donnelly to be Keeper at Gis-
borne.
Sergeant Thomas O'Grady to be Keeper at
Grahamstown.
Sergeant-Major William A. Kiely to be Keeper at
Greymouth.
Constable William Coughlan to be Reaper at
Hokinnga.
Constable Riebard B. Miles to be Keener at Kai-
koura.
Constable William R. McKinstey to be Keeper at
Lawrence.

Amended Scale of Charges, Masterton Cemetery,
County of Wairarapa West.

THE following amended scale of charges for the
Masterton Cemetery, having been assented to
by His Excellency the Governor in Council, is pub-
lished in accordance with "The Cemeteries Manage-
ment Act, 1377."

At a meeting of the Masterton Cemetery Trustees,
held in Masterton on the 22nd November, 1881,
the following alterations in the scale of charges for
interments was adopted, via. :-

For permission to erect a grave-atone or cross
to ordinary grave--Charges remitted.
For the purchase of the exclusive right of inter-
ment in perpetuity, or for a limited period,
with permission to dig, make, erect brick
grave, vault, or paling fence, subject to the
approval of the Trustees:--
Space 9 feet, by 9 feet, Β£3
Ditto for space not less than 3 feet by 9 feet,
Β£1 10s.
For every additional foot, 10s.
Approved in Council.
