All that piece or parcel of land containing by
admeasurement 1 acre 1 rood 5 perches, situate in
the Survey District of Puniu, being portion of Lot
No. 319, Parish of Mangapiko, commencing at a
point 533 links from the southernmost corner of said
Lot No. 319. Bounded-Easterly by a line, 1278
links; Northerly by the Mangapiko River; Westerly
by a line, 1286 links; South-westerly by a road to
commencing point, 118 links.
All that piece or parcel of land containing by
admeasurement 12 acres 2 roods 2 perches, situate in
the Survey District of Puniu, being portion of Lots
Nos. 238 and 239, Parish of Mangapiko, commencing
at a point 1347 links from the northernmost point of
said Lot No. 239. Bounded-Westerly by a line,
476 links; Northerly by a line, 197 links; Westerly
by a line, 1800 links; Southerly by a line, 200 links;
Westerly by a line, 1274 links; Southerly by public
road, 224 links; Easterly by a line, 1365 links;
Southerly by a line, 101 links; Easterly by a line,
1800 links; Northerly by a line, 105 links; Easterly
by a line, 420 links; Northerly by a road to commen-
cing point, 216 links.
All the above areas and measurements being either
more or less, and the several parcels being situate in
the Provincial District of Auckland, Colony of New
Zealand, and are more particularly delineated upon
the plan marked P.W.D. 8697, deposited in the
office of the Minister for Public Works, at Welling-
ton, in the Provincial District of Wellington.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the
Honorable Arthur Hamilton Gordon,
Knight Grand Cross of the Most Dis-
tinguished Order of Saint Michael and
Saint George, Her Majesty's High
Commissioner for the Western Pacific,
Governor and Commander-in-Chief in

the Seal of the said Colony, at the

Bonuses on Colonial Industries.

NOTICE is hereby given that the following bonuses
will be paid on articles produced in the Colony
of New Zealand, as under :-
SUGAR.
A bonus of one thousand pounds (£1,000) will be
given for the production of the first 125 tons of sugar,
manufactured in New Zealand, from beet or any
other root or plant grown in the colony.
LINSEED OIL.
A bonus of five hundred pounds (£500) will be
given for the production, by machinery permanently
established in New Zealand, of the first ten thousand
(10,000) gallons of oil, of good marketable quality,
from linseed grown in the colony.
OIL CAKE.
A bonus of one hundred pounds (£100) will be
given for the production of the first fifty tons of oil
cake, of good marketable quality, from linseed grown
in the colony.
STARCH.
A bonus of three hundred pounds (£300) will be
given on the first fifty tons of starch, manufactured
in the colony, which shall be shipped to an English
market, and for which a satisfactory certificate shall
