On the South is Keriwahine Stream; on the East the river of Waihou; on the North, a stream called Te Kauri, and onwards to Te Tumuoketekura; it then turns westward, as far as the boundary dividing the Waihou lands from those of Piako; it turns and proceeds along that line as far as the stream of Keriwahine, then along that stream to the starting point.
Hori Ngakapa Whanaunga, Wiremu Te Aramoana, Reihana Poto, and others Piako, near Shortland ... Boundaries are shown in the Government maps; for this Piako Block has been surveyed by the Government, and advertised as under negotiation for purchase by the Government: within that proclaimed land is the part now applied for.
Waata Tipa, Ema Te Aouru, Meri H. Taipari, Wata Hangata, Mita Te Ratu, Hamiora Te Rangituatea, Hariata Hoera, Renata Hikamokai, and others Piako, near Shortland ... The boundary commences on the East side of Piako, at Te Ruaropa North; turns southward of Piako, and runs along the western side, and strikes the Waitoa Stream; proceeds along the East side of Waitoa, and arrives at the southern boundary; the boundary is Te Paewai, this is the southern boundary.
Hona Taiawa ... Huirepo, at Hauraki ...
Miriama Te Ngahue, Wikitoria Te Ngahue, Hiria Te Ngahue, and Hoani Pahau Raurimu, at Hauraki ... The boundary on the North is the Waihou River; on the West the stream of Te Tipapa; on the South the land of Tautoru and others, Hokoharanui is the name; and on the East Huirau, the land of Ngatikotinga.
Ngapari Whaiapu, Mango Whaiapu, and Ngaroma Hauwahine, near Puriri, Shortland On the South is Okokako Block; on the East Te Pohue Block; on the North Te Tuhunga Block; and on the West Tapotupotu.
Miriama Konehu, Wikitoria Te Wao, and Te Arani Watana Ngawhakapoupou, near Te Puriri, Shortland On the North-west is the survey line of Te Rahootaranga, and the line of Pakirarahi; on the North is Pakirarahi again; on the East is Pakirarahi again; and on the South the Kohirahi Stream.
Matene Ruta Te Ngaa, Hoori M. Kohitu, and Hera Tuhi- rae Makomako, at Te Kirikiri... On the East is Native land; on the North is Native land, this line cuts the County road and the railway line; on the West-is granted land called Hurumoimoi; and on the South is Native land; this line also cuts the County road and the railway.
