HAWKE'S BAY ACCLIMATISATION SOCIETY,
duly signed, has been deposited in this office, and the
said Society is therefore deemed to be a registered
Acclimatisation Society under "The Animals Pro-
tection Act, 1880,"

NOTICE is hereby given that WILLIAM LE CREN,
of Lambton Quay, in the City of Wellington,
in the Colony of New Zealand, has applied, on behalf
of EDWIN HELLARD CREASE, of Wellington, afore-
said, Merchant, to register, under "The Trade Marks
Act, 1866," the trade mark of which the following is
a description:--

Description of Trade Mark.

In a medallion are depicted the figures of a cow
and calf, the latter recumbent, with foliage in the
background. This is surrounded by a diamond-
shaped lozenge, bearing the words "Salsaline" twice
on the top, and "Trade Mark" underneath.

Nature of the Article to which it is intended such
Trade Mark shall apply.

Salsaline, which is an antiseptic and preservative
of all articles of perishable food.

Zealand is free from the disease among cattle
known as pleuro-pneumonia, and that no quarantine
restrictions exist against the moving of cattle from
one district to another within the Colony of New
Zealand.
