NOTE.-Those sections for which more than one
application has been received on the 18th October
will be decided by auction at the Crown Lands
Office, Auckland, at noon on the following day.
Plans may be seen, and further particulars of the
land obtained, on application at this office.
CONDITIONS.
No person can select more than one section.
Deposit of one-twentieth of the price of the land
to be tendered with application.
Payments: Twenty equal instalments, payable one
each on the 1st January and the 1st July of each year
for ten years.
Improvements: Selector must bring into cultiva-
tion not less than one-twentieth of area the first year,
one-tenth the second year, and within six years must
have cultivated one-fifth, and effected permanent
improvements to the value of £1 for every acre.
The selector has the option, at any time after the
first three years, of discharging all his obligations by
paying up the balance of the purchase-money in
one payment, provided he has effected the improve-
ments.
Residence on the land by the selector is compul-
sory for a period of six years from the issue of
license.
Tenders for right to dig and remove Kauri Gum,
Auckland Land District.

TENDERS, in writing, will be received at this
office until 12 o'clock noon on Monday, the
25th October next, for the right, during a period of
two years, at a premium or foregift, to dig for and
remove kauri gum from the lands mentioned in the
following Schedule.

MONGONUI COUNTY.
SOUTHERN portion of the Muriwhenua Block, con-
taining about 20,000 acres.
N.B.-The highest or any tender not necessarily
accepted, and the Land Board reserves to itself the
right to dispose of any portion of the block during
the above term.
Cheque for amount offered to be enclosed with
tender.
Tenders to be addressed, "Land Board, Auck-
land.-Tender for Kauri Gum, part of Muriwhenua
Block."

THE following parcels of land will be offered for
lease, for depasturing purposes only, by public
auction, at this office, on Monday, the 25th October
next, at the hour of 12 o'clock noon.

PARISH of Mongonui East, south head of Mongonui
Harbour, 7,000 acres, third-class lands, for a period
of 14 years. Upset price per annum, £5.
COROMANDEL COUNTY.
Te To, Tatahoa, Pukekura, Whiritoa, Oneroa Nos.
1 and 2, Waihihi, and Waitarere Blocks, at Cabbage
Bay, 1,460 acres, third-class land, for a period of
14 years. Upset price per annum, £3.
N.B.-Rent to be paid yearly in advance. The
whole or any portion of these lands may at any time
during the currency of the lease be resumed by the
Land Board for the purposes of occupation or selec-
tion.
Rural Lands open for Selection, Auckland Land
District.

UNDER and in pursuance of the powers vested in
the Land Board by "The Land Act, 1877," it
is hereby notified that the rural lands mentioned in
the Schedule hereunder will be open for selection
under the "Homestead System," on Monday, the
25th day of October next.

Hospital Endowment for Lease, Auckland Land
District.

HEREBY notify that Lot 51, Parish of Pukekura,
containing 50 acres, hospital endowment, will be
offered for lease by public auction, at this office, on
Monday, the 25th October next, at the hour of 12
noon. Term, 14 years. Upset price, per
annum, £10. Rent to be paid yearly in advance.
